Dumb tweet. Not like there hadn't been talks of this deal going down for a while. Could be he's gotten better with a team showing interest in his services.

His mental issues where cured by the same thing that is going to cure hardens hammy

Its is OBVIOUS that is the reason we suck. We are not that bad of a team to lose 10 **** games in a row. Its humiliatimg.

I hate this stupid team so much. I almost wish we just stayed on the rebuild and never even tried to glue together a bunch of stars. Its been nothing short of an epic disaster.

There is no problem bringing in stars as long as they buy into the culture and try to fit in. The problem is when the stars try to take over the franchise which is what KD and Kyrie is doing; firing the coach, shaking up the roster, changing the culture, and disrupting chemistry.

The Nets went from being a gritty, defensive, team first basketball team that habitually won games it shouldn't. To being an offensive, no effort, top heavy team with 0 chemistry losing games it shouldn't.

KD/Kyrie had nothing to do with a firing of a coach. it is spelled out quite clearly in the book. he also wanst fired, it was mutual and he left. spencer/Deandre had been at it with atkinson for weeks, dinwiddie pissed about a lack of defined roles and being jerked back and forth.

Chemisty also was never an issue. this team has always clicked when 2+ stars play.

Coaching is 110% of the problem. you cant overcome starting games down 15-0 because your coach is a -15 handicap.

I think we can forget about a ring this season, no team that can lose 10 in a row will win the title I guarantee that.

Shame we wasted a year of KD's prime, but the Ben reclaimation project along with the inevitable removal of the ridiculous vaccine mandates gives us some hope for the future.

I'm frustrated about the losing streak, but I'm actually glad we lost tonight. There's so much bull going around that "the storm is over now that Harden is traded", no it isn't. It was necessary to turn the page on that chapter, but we still have bigger problems. Namely, Nash and Kyrie.

Nash needs to do better, and he needs to feel job pressure about how horrible he's been. Croneyism shouldn't restrict accountability. Sometimes, as a GM, you have to fire your longtime friend and business partner.

Irving needs to takes steps to become a full participant. We cannot pin serious title hopes to manage restrictions lifting, it leaves too much to chance. Before you know it, there will be another COVID variant. We've argued this to death on the forum.

And I'll say this: even if the mandate does magically disappear, teammates will resent the fact that Kyrie wouldn't make any effort to become a full participant for the team. This has nothing to do with my Fandom or my enjoyment, it's about group dynamics. We see that this locker room is in the toilet, and this latest loss proves that our problems didn't vanish with the departure of Harden and Millsap. Those guys were simply the most vocal about Irving's absence and Nash's tactics hurting the team.

If we look at all historic data and odds, we stand no chance. We dropped to 82% making PO this year. Type teams get bounced in a first round with over 60% chance, over 90% in second.

I mean we not average team. We got KD and two legit all stars ( I didn't type it with straight face :P ) that can spank any team out there. Main issue is that our so called coach can't adjust. I mean just look at tonight game. Once Wiz adjusted to Kyrie by rotating Avdja on him and sending double, what exactly did he do to counter that? You thought right, nothing. Last play of the game, we have 2 TO and ball to inbound. Kyrie got triple teamed before ref game ball to us, what Nash does... this clown has to go. I'm not even going to stress spacing, rotations, set plays etc etc. This dumb **** has no clue. Firing him is addition by subtraction. I'll take JV over him yesterday, he actually knows what it takes to be HC. Guy took his lumps here with us and know players well.

Nash needs to be fired. I don't know what Sean Marks is doing here.

and we played multiple teams that are actively trying to lose during that streak. its so bad and so glaring... and its not just the losing. i was calling him out last year when we were racking up wins. its frustrating. because it removes hope. like even if KD is back and the mandate is lifted, Nash will still put our players in position to fail, make no adjustments, overplay his stars, and ignore opponents weaknesses.

You were always right about Nash. I will admit.

**** bum.

Again stop making up lies.

Atkinson was fired because the team didn't like him. Not even Russell likes him to this day.

Kyrie/KD were not even with the team when he was fired. Not to mention he can't find a job anywhere else.

The problem was hiring Nash. Which was a decision made by Marks.

It was beyond obvious their entire strategy was to double Kyrie. Thats all they did all game.

They ended up triple teaming him. No play was drawn up to free up Mills. Made NO SENSE.

We did end up getting a decent look for Cam. But that was pure luck.

Nash is such an idiot. And gets a free pass because Harden ruined our season.

We had our chances the Wizards were begging to lose and we didn’t take advantage. I expect to get destroyed by the Heat next.

Unfortunately, its a numbers game for us. With 27 games left.... holy cow, that will fly by us soon!

Between Nash and Kyrie, we're against the wall.....

going 14-13 may not be enough.... other teams may get better n better(or bad, but assume the worst)

Got to look at going 17-10 the least to secure playoffs...

Forget about anything homecourt advantage wise.

Curry will add some spacing to Mills/Kyrie. Curry is a better shooter than Harden. Drummond will help us on the glass. I think there will be new life and energy to the team on Saturday night and we get a W. Also, we don't know if Claxton/Aldridge will play which helps our chances. Let's be optimistic post trade, not pessimistic.

??? Why would he go to an arena which is one of the root causes of his mental health issues?

You can dislike/not agree with his actions but to try to assert that a new job/environment etc can't have immediate improvements to a person's mental health is just plain silly and pure pigheadedness and removes the possibility of a non absolutist/nuanced conversation. :noway:
