Except that it's not because Lowry at 23 was an actual productive player. Also, very much worth noting, that Lowry is an exception to the rule, and there are hundreds of players you could have said the same thing about that DIDN'T pan out. Future MVP's don't have their TS% from 43 to 39 in year one to year two while seeing decreases in volume.

I didn't see much of Poku in year 1, but has he developed much physically? I think he can be a solid roleplayer and maybe an all-star if he can string together some consistency. The MVP talk is nuts tho

which is no shame, Poku didnt get a single second of playing time on his senior greek team weeks before draft, I mean he is only playing cause his NBA team is blatatly tanking, guy didnt even look good in G league. He suppose to be clear example of 2 years away from 2 years away. Ideally guy like that would be stashed for good 3 4 years at least, but hey, OKC doesnt seem to have problem with 70 point losses, so their rotation guys are good 4 years away from NBA level if they ever reach it to begin with.

Personally I have no idea why they got Gabriel Deck, and why Gabriel Deck was on NBA radar to begin with, he is freaking Gabriel Deck, he is a big much of nothingness.
