Teams win chips (or don't) based on their top players....Either they have it or they don't.

Tatum is a #2 option player on a championship team.

So it's nice that they are playing well but the recent Celtics teams are a very good treadmill team. They need a super star to take them over the top.

They very well could have the best defense in the association with the addition of White.
Don't think they are quite contenders but wouldn't want to play them in a series that's for sure.

They've been playing great, but they still need Tatum to elevate his game for them to be considered true contenders. I think this is as good as Brown is gonna get, but we know Tatum can still hit another level. His three-ball disappearing this year has limited him a biy, but i expect his shot to come back. Once it does, watch out.

The Celtics were one of the deadline winners and this was an A move. Really underrated. All we heard all year is that the Celtics need a point guard to create easy looks and instead of pairing a ball dominant PG with their two ball dominant stars, they got a PG that can play-off ball but also run the offence as well. On top of that White is a good defender. Reminds me a lot of the potential that Lonzo Ball has playing off of Lavine and Derozan, but the ability to create open looks. White as your second best player your team will suck, but if he’s your 4th/5th best player I love it. The East playoffs will legit be insane.

Yeah Celtics aren’t a team you want to match up with in the first round. And they absolutely got better at the deadline.

Tatum & Brown are still a dynamic duo. Their defense is stifling.

9-1 in last 10, Celtics are rolling.

which is why they been blowing teams out by 30. Its not like people are saying the Celtics are a threat to go deep into the playoffs

They seemed to have figured it out and i really like the addition of White. During this streak, Tatum has played like a legitimate superstar, Brown has accepted his role as the 2nd option, and Smart has focused on what he does best which is defend and distribute.
With all that said, what Chicago, Cleveland, and Toronto have done this year has impressed me far more than what Boston has done.

This is very true (although they did just beat the Nugz). But the point is that they did make some good moves and seemingly did get better.
