I love him already.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect us to resign him. Especially if he likes it here.

I’m glad to see his first game was such a success. He definitely brings toughness and grit sorely needed by this team. Yes I’d have preferred Holmes (as previously stated), but Trez is our guy and I hope he maximizes his performance with us.

We will need his strength to compile a big run. If we can ever get Gordon back and healthy that would help a lot. Martin back will be a big assist also.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Hornets From 2016 Draft:

Kelly Oubre #15 Pick 5,463 career pts
Terry Rozier #16 5,494 pts
Montrezl Harrell #32 5,616 pts

Wiz Fan here.
You guys will love Trez. His advanced stats (BPM/RAPTOR/RPM/Etc) are not misleading. The dude is straight physicality and energy. If some team is slacking on the boards/physicality, Trez will quickly make them pay and completely change the flow of the game.

Dont get bogged down by what he CANT do, but simply appreciate the little things that he does SO much better than his peers.

Good luck and enjoy

Most striking thing to me is that Kaminsky is NBA-older than all three of those guys. Feel like Terry and Harrell have been around for ages

Would Montrezl be the better starter? Would Plumlee be better off the bench?

Let Harrell get the high energy going early so we don't fall into an early slump. It's a small sample size, but Harrell has put up 15/6 in game 1, and 20/9 in game 2. Plumlee was 7/10 and 4/12.

Someone else posted that our new starting lineup should be Melo - Rozier - Miles - PJ - Harrell

I pretty much agree with that.

I think part of what makes Harrell effective is that he can feast on backups and can stay relatively fresh throughout the game, allowing him to play with a high motor. For better or worse in his case, "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

People questioning the fit with the Hornets appear to have forgotten Trez's best season had him thriving as the roll man next to Lou Williams. I can see LaMelo and Trez's college teammate Terry standing in for Lou, but I'm most intrigued to see how Bouk steps up to the opportunity.

Under Kentucky law, possessing or trafficking eight or more ounces but less than five pounds of marijuana is a Class D Felony for first-time offenders. It is punishable by 1-5 years of incarceration with a fine ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.

I was ready to move on from him after he started complaining about his role and minutes.
