The guys are likely to tell him why Caris got shipped out.

And yet he had close to a triple double. Let's hope for the bestTopofthekey wrote:It's been only one game, but I think I see the Buddy problem that Kings fans have been trying to warn us about

I think he tweaked the sprained ankle that had him out recently.

I heard Quinn say on TV that LeVert just couldn't help himself. Let's hope Buddy is coachable.boomershadow wrote:Wizop wrote:And yet he had close to a triple double. As a starter and main player, like Sacramento has wanted him to be at times in his stint there, this could be a real problem. If we bring him off the bench for 10-15 minutes and he doesn't do much but jack up shots on decent percentage, that will pprobably work okay.

Just a word of optimism for you all: Buddy was a very good player near the end of Dave Joerger’s stint with Sacramento. Dave had Buddy under a strict role and there was a structure as to how Buddy would get his shots. Rick Carlisle is the best coach Buddy has had since Joerger (and possibly ever). If Carlisle can implement a system that gives Buddy the structure he needs, then I think Pacers fans will be happy with Buddy (and he’ll look like an asset). Fingers crossed for y’all.

I’ll be honest. My only real hope for Buddy is simply that he stretches the defense with his shooting to open the lane a bit and make it easier for some of our young guys to develop. We were just getting so packed in the paint for a long time that it was making everything tougher.
