I like Fox-Holiday starting with Davion running the second unit. I think with some time together and a defensive minded coach putting in a real system on that end will have this team looking real good.

Looked very deep tonight, no drop off with any line up, even Gentry can coach these guys

Happy about the win but not super thrilled with fox waiving off sabonis like 4 times late in the 4th….

A game & 1/2 out of the 10th seed now. Not going to be EZ, but maybe we can go 3-0 on this road trip? Go into the break like 1 game out?

Once again we dominated the boards, 27 assists is 4 more than our regular season average.

43% from 3, 12 made 3s. Including DDV/Fox combining for 1-11.

Id say it was overall a pretty ugly game, so the fact they managed to do enough for a win was nice. Imo pre trade we go down 20 in the first half and Washington never looks back.

Nice win. should be expected.

Its going to take some time. We all know that, but hey, this squad is at least going to be a legit defensive squad next season.
Holiday/Mitchell/DDV is legit. Mo can help out too.

Liked the offense early on and then everything turned to crap.
A couple of things I'm happy with, the pre trade Kings guys aren't forcing some shots they may have earlier.

And Barnes is going to ball our with Ox. Even guys are starting to cut for other players.
This is what every coach should be forcing down the players' throats. The old Kings still could have run a version of this, not nearly as good, granted, but it wouldn't have made peoples eyes bleed.

Oh, bold strategy for DDV to take #0.

Do you ever give positive takes?

BTW, momma Holmes confirmed Richaun's close cousin passed away which is why he was out for personal reasons. She said he's taking it hard... Being demoted to the bench can't be an easy task to cope with on top of the family death.

?? I give the takes I want to give

Everyone has commented he looks downbeat, being benched will do nothing for his value (everyone has commented on that as well)

8-)

Its not just me. If you looked one other Kings threads, the comments IMO would be why is Richaun pouting. If you looked at what pundits would say its leaving Richaun on the bench this year will not help his value.

Its going to hit him he isnt starting IMO. The optics will be of a benched center who has had a subpar year for him making 4/48 or whatever

I mean if his Cousin passed away thats a pretty good excuse for being upset.

I was impressed with him this past game. Brought energy, had some nice baskets, got to the line. This may be good for him after the season he had getting beat up and eye injuries.

He will no doubt be moved this offseason, and I don't think people are going to forget what he brings because he was benched for a top 5 center.
