I am willing to bet it doesn’t get “Curry type” coverage.

unlikely, lebron beating kareem record has been talked about almost since i can remember following the nba (aka since 2009)

nba also would be really dumb to not give it the fanfare it deserves

Watch how quick they turn the conversation into Jordan would have done it if he played that many games.

Just you wait.

Remember when LeBron passed up Jordan in playoff scoring and Reggie immediately shifted the conversation to "well let's not get ahead of ourselves here..."

They also made it a point to emphasize that Jordan did it in less games

Just look at the type of calls that are made for each team.

The Warriors are living off of touch calls.

for good or ill it isn't common to combine RS + PS stats

Westbrook is an instinct player, asking him to think is a problem. He's chaos.

It's the greatest individual record in the game really.

what would be the most "coveted" récords in basketball?

most points in a game

most points in a career

most assists (a surprisingly high number of people are ultra high in stockton because of this)

most rings

most mvps

most points in a season

LeBron James 2021-22 Regular Season Thread - Part ?

Post#1330 » by Greyhound » Sun Feb 13, 2022 3:56 am

LeBron sinks into the lane then puts his hands up (like someone screwed up) when his man gets a wide open three.

Then he could not even secure the rebound he cheated in to chase.

Very poor sequence for him (in the midst of a disastrous quarter).

LeBron get zero touch calls.

He has to get his making shots. Luckily for him, he leads the league in made baskets.

LeBron makes 11 shots a game. No other players make over 10.

Silver hard at work trying to figure out a way to outlaw made shots.

Stay tuned.

Lakers have been skullfcked on the boards. Just one of the worst concentrating, worst motor teams.

Even when they play really well luck isn't on their side. How many bounces can go the Warriors way?

It's not all luck, Warriors play on their toes. It's going to look that way but they are always ready to pounce. A true benefit of going small unlike the Lakers who can't shoot and are lazy in their small lineups.

How is it not lucky when a tipped pass by Curry goes right into Klay's hands for a 3, or Poole shooting such an ugly shot off the backboard it careens off the backboard into another Klay 3?

Anthony Davis cannot be trusted this game.

That blown uncontested rebound (leading to a Warriors three), missed ft and blown shot at the basket were costly.

LeBron cannot be trusted this game.
He has been just as bad.
