As much as I'd love to be in the shoes of a Mets fan, actually in contention and fighting for a pennant and a chance to play in the post-season; having a say in who goes to the post-season and not, is pretty special indeed.
T'was hoping the Cubs wouldn't make the playoffs after what we did to them. But, ehhh.....

believe me.. being frustrated 24/7, stressed out, losing sleep b/c your team is going through one of the biggest meltdowns ever isnt what you wanna be.. its not even like teams are defeating the mets, they r beating themselves which makes it 100000000x worse to watch.. then theres the games where we comeback from like 2-4runs only for the pen to let it go the next inning.. i can honestly say the last few weeks have been some of the shyttyest of my short 19year life b/c of this meltdown..
The Brewers and the Mets are basically the exact same team. We have the same exact problems. You guys just have more veterans so I guess it's even worse for you.

I don't even think you can compare. We lost an 8.5 game lead in a few months. They lost a 7 game lead in less than 3 weeks.

It's the same agonizing torturous journey. Ours was just spread out while theirs is being slammed into their faces. But we both don't have great managers, well according to some met fans at least, free swingers and a suspect bullpen.

They aren't the same at all to me. What the Brewers did happens almost yearly to at least one team (Baltimore and Cincy did that same thing last season). What the Mets are doing could be historic. Yes, being a Brewers fan sucks right now, but I couldn't bear being a Mets fan right now (I wonder how that Met fan who killed his mom after a loss is doing right now).
