I think Miami is positioning themselves to make a late run at Harden. It's going to be crazy around noon tomorrow.

Amazing that a guy can basically go on a one man tank job (for the second time in two years) in the same paragraph as calculating his next contract...the largest one in NBA history. I like player empowerment and all that, but not a fan of his style or professionalism.

I hope the Simmons/Harden deal happens and I hope the NBA goes hard after Morey and Philly for tampering. It's obscene how they have orchestrated this Harden dilemma to force Brooklyn's hand
.

Really? wow... I wonder how they convinced Kyrie to go all nut-job to make the BKN team dysfunctional. Harden probably went to BKN so he would have help in KD and Kyrie... I don't think he signed up to play in the sage-smelling arena Kyrie was voodoo-dancing...

You’re missing the point. Philly isn’t allowed to talk to Harden. They aren’t allowed to speak publicly about him. They can’t speculate publicly about his future. There have been leaks coming by the day about their intentions to acquire him. They are sending signals in an attempt to get Harden to force his way out because they know they won’t have cap space in the summer and because nobody is taking them up on their absurd asking price for Simmons.

Oh if you out it that way then yes, IF they did talk to Harden about this then yes, the leagie should fine PHI through the roof. However, the leaks or speculations have been coming from people not connected to either teams

Tampering is happening and always will.
NBA teams can always have guy who knows a guy who knows player to etablish communication through. It's not like Morey and Harden will be meating at strip club throwing 76ers logo money at dancers while discuss terms of Harden's new contract.

Portland should call it a day and trade lillard for a Simmons package

Lillard is a better fit for 76ers, harden+Jojo will not work
Suggs, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, Jett
Franz, TDS,
P5, JI, Panda
Wcj, Goga, Moe

Lakers lost 11 out of last 16 games
Whole year long ,they only won 8 games against teams with positive record. Literally whole damn world is reporting how awful they are.

It’s an absolute dumpster fire and I’m loving every second of it. Curious to see how their deadline goes. They have to make some moves, but don’t really have many attractive trade chips. It would be insane if some team agrees to an offer that completely bails the Lakers out.

Wendell got virtually the same extension.

Our FO is far from perfect, but they are pretty damn good when it comes to contract negotiations.

I like the move for the Nets. While Harden >> Simmons, I think fully healthy Nets team is more balanced now and Simmons adds much needed defense.

The East is wide open.

There are legitimately 6 teams who think if they play their best basketball and catch a few breaks, that they're gonna win the conference.

And two of those six are going to go out in the first round!

Health factor will be key, aslo don't count out Celtics, they won 7 straight and 9 of last 10.

Nets lost 11 in a row, as long as Durant is out and NY refuse to lift vaccination mandate they are f****d.

Bucks should be favorites, they won all next year.
Bulls have so many injury isuses but everybody but Pat Will should return by playoffs.
Exchange Simmons for Harden should unlock PT for Matisse Thybulle.
