In LeBron's sport, you're expected to play both sides of the ball, not just one...

Brady plays the most important position in football and he did it better for longer than anyone else in NFL history. No one in team sports is as good as he was.

Anyone trying to compare Lebron’s resume to Brady is a joke or don’t know anything about football

That actually makes it more impressive. He’s played almost 100 more playoff games and his winning percentage is only 1.2% lower than Jordan’s.

Now do the Finals...

He has four rings and four FMVPs. Only Jordan has more FMVPs. Y’all are acting like he’s Charles Barkley lmao.

LeBron James is clearly a top 5 player of all time. Anyone saying otherwise at this point is full of it.

Having said that, when we start talking about greatest, the most points, those sort of things context does matter. In this case, what LeBron has done is amazing. Is he the most amazing scorer ever though? No, he isn't. He started playing at 19, he played in a weak Eastern conference most of his career so he usually advanced easily. Both things can be true though, his stats can be a bit inflated and he can be one of the best to ever play the game.

The one thing I can never shake off: a 73 win team went crying to Durant to sign with them so they could beat lebron. That says so much about Lebron that a team who won 73 games knew it needed even more to beat him .

The Warriors used their cap space legally to sign Durant. They lost in the finals that year, had to do something to improve.

I giggle every time I see someone says "73 wIn TeAm sIgNeD DuRaNt". The NBA is about championships. What did you expect them to do?

Never said it was illegal?

It just goes to show how great Lebron is that even a 73 win team needed more help to beat him. That’s more of a reflection on how good Lebron is

The absolute pinnacle of term "athlete"

Breaking records, family man, never been in trouble with the law, philanthropist etc.

Everything you want The GOAT to be, Lebron is it.

Lol what kind of comment is this. LeBron haters are getting sadder and sadder, but also just plain weird. Like when Brady got to 600 TD's this past season, you didn't see "durr but he's no Muhammad Ali" comments.

The Warriors received too much unnecessary criticism for that move. Prior to acquiring KD, the Warriors did not have a reliable closer despite the success the team was having. Steph and Klay were prone to making crunch time mistakes, almost as if uncomfortable in the crunch when you have fewer possessions. KD gave them a reliable closer and someone who was poised in the crunch. KD made them a complete team, not the superteam everyone wants to believe they were. I think the current Curry is the closer they need, but back then he was not quite there yet.

I'm no Lebron fan but even I have to agree with this, wholeheartedly.

It's a relevant comment because Tom just retired.

He led in scoring exactly once in 19 years. That's not the greatest scorer in NBA history. Far from it.

MJ: 38,289 points scored in 1,072 games played @ 38.3 MPG = 0.93 points per minute.
Lebron: 44,157 points scored in 1,350 games played @ 38.2 MPG = 0.85 points per minute.

In basketball, first there is Michael Jordan... then there is everyone else. 8-)

You can hate the player while still assessing their basketball skills objectively. Hate LeBron all you want but his numbers, and the talent it takes to get them, are undeniable.

What a shock he's won the most games; he's played the most games in NBA history in the playoffs, too, due to massive playoff expansion compared to when Kareem et. all played their primes.

Yet, his actual winning percentage among all players in the playoffs is 19th all time.

Hard to win your first 7 seasons when you have the likes of Mo William's as your second best player.
