Lance Stephenson
Dude has been GREAT off the bench for Indiana given the circumstances of not being in the league full time for the past 3 years. He is an ideal point forward who is always looking to get everyone involved while playing hard on both ends.
10/3/4 in 18 minutes is pretty damn productive, especially when you consider he's been playing with a mostly injury depleted roster. He's still only 31 years of age and technically was out of the league during his prime years.
Does someone want to tell me how he couldnt find a job with all the scrubs taking up roster spots in the league?

He stayed in basketball shape, and got smarter. I don't actually know, I'm just assuming here.

Nice to see Lance "the Dance" Stephenson getting some love.
I think how well he's doing in Indiana also has something to do with the affection he feels for the team that drafted him. He is in the best place for him at the moment, not sure if the same could have been replicated elsewhere. Would've been nice if we could've gotten him a ring when he was at the Lakers though.

Re: Lance Stephenson
Indy needs to trade him for assets.
Lakers could use him, take the first and THT off them.

The Nuggets should have signed him, he was playing for their G league team, he's way better player than Rivers,Campazzo,Howard etc.

Got a out of shape and was one of those "headache" type of players whose act wore thin.
Stephenson always been one of those "get under your skin" type of guys to opponents. The problem is that these types of guys often eventually get under the skin of their own teammates/coaches. Their act gets tired and eventually the team decides the talent doesn't overcome the headache.
Pacers had a few years break from him with a coach and roster of players that weren't there when Stephenson last played in Indy, so it's kind of like starting over a bit.

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

I've never heard a bad word said by any of his teammates, nor by his supporting cast on Friends.

PS: Don't mind me, I was just looking for a reason to post that pic.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Lance’s teammates all love him. He has not been difficult to coach for 8 years.

Lance and the Pacers couldn't agree to a contract and he even took less money to sign with the Hornets. So it wasn't all roses between him and the Pacers.
Like many teams, the Hornets, while fans of Stephenson's play, had concerns about his antics and attitude. But sources say those concerns were alleviated in Tuesday's face-to-face meeting.
Pacers teammates were upset when Stephenson was goaded into his second technical foul in a March win over Miami and again when he publicly challenged LeBron James & Co. during the playoffs. Stephenson also got into a practice scuffle with teammate Evan Turner during the playoffs and was even criticized by Bird, one of Stephenson's biggest fans, after he blew into the ear of James during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Genius, we are debating your false assertion that his teammates wanted him gone. You made that up.
Secondly, I already said he was hard to coach 8 years ago.
Quit lying.

Where did I say his teammates wanted him gone? I said that he's the type of guy (and this even includes guys like Draymond/Rodman/Rasheed) whose antics can wear on teammates/coaches. Doesn't mean they want him gone, but it's an act that wears thin, and the above ESPN story describes exactly that.
There's a reason the Pacers gave a young/productive Lance a lowball offer (5 years, $44M). They were wary of his antics and factored that into what they offered him (I said earlier he took less from the Hornets. He actually took roughly the same amount per year, but just a shorter deal).

Sorry for the unpleasant comment to follow, but that thing Lance did at 2:02 freaked me out, in Greece we've seen a player (Boban Jankovic, RIP) damage his spinal cord and literally cripple himself for the rest of his life from doing the same thing, just a little harder.
Apologies again, just bad memories... and a warning to everyone I guess, don't do that.
