Would've been nice if the NBA announced this before we traded for LeVert.
Lol my exact thought, coulda used those 3 assets elsewhere.

He wasn't banned for performance enhancing drugs. He was banned for testing positive for a "drug of addiction". I'm going to assume it's cocaine, it could possibly also be meth or heroin. Heroin seems unlikely. Has anybody heard or has it been revealed what drug he tested positive for?

You can safely say coke imo. Its so much more commonly used than most people realize.

Possible also that he was using MDMA. That would have shown up as methamphetamine in his drug test.

Did he really get a 2 year ban because he tested positive for cocaine? Seems a bit much. Must have been a repeat thing though.

Hope to see him make a comeback. I seen some of his workout videos and he's in great shape.

Hell, with Terence Davis out for the rest of the season, I wouldn't mind seeing him on the Kings for a third time.

Seriously though, there are a number of playoff teams and teams hoping to be in the playoffs with depleted guard depth right now who could actually use him.

It's standard procedure by the NBA for drugs of abuse.

Come to Lakers. We are desperate for anyone above 6'3".

Also, over ~200 games in his last four seasons in the league, he hit ~38% on ~4 3PA/game.

So a pretty decent sample size of shooting. Non-shooting, more ball-dominant tyreke was earlier in his career.

I feel like the Wizards are the answer. They lost Beal for the season, they need some kind of scorer, he's got the best credentials in that regard of any free agent.

The Lakers had a free agent meeting with him in 2018 and they might still be interested.

The league doesn't want a repeat of the late 70s and early 80s when cocaine use was rampant, with some players actually dying from either cocaine overdose or other cocaine related complications (Len Bias and Reggie Lewis).

He could be a really nice pick up for someone like Utah, if he is anywhere close to the level he left off.
