Where would they rank in the West? How far would they go?

I don't think current Lebron could coexist with that version of Kobe

Can we do the Wizards, replace Brad Beal and Kyle Kuzma with Michael Jordan and Larry Bird? Like in reality? Please?

Of course he could. LeBron is king of co-existing with other stars.

Definitely the favorite as long as the big 3 is healthy I'd imagine

Title favorites. LeBron would love playing with Kobe
Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

It all depends on if Lebron could handle a 21yr old Kobe Bryant blasting him in the media for stat padding, record chasing, meddling in the front office, and not playing any defense.

Given their personalities I think a 21yr old Kobe would resent Lebron James even more than he did Shaq.

I don't think James pads his stats this season and although he's not a good defender anymore, it's not like he doesn't try on that end. Kobe made it work with far more toxic player than 2022 James in 2001. Of course, that player also happened to be much better than old James, but that's another discussion.

In terms of personalities, I don't see Kobe struggling with James more than he did with Shaq.

01 Kobe is exactly the player that this team needs in place of Westbrook. Feel like 01 Kobe would respect Lebron more than he did Shaq at this point too, maybe not AD though.

You mean 22 year old Kobe. Also Lebron and Shaq are different in terms of work ethic. Lebron takes care of his body with world class treatment. Shaq came into the 00-01 season training camp overweight.

Kobe’s play style is a better fit next to Lebron than Westbrook. Kobe provides better spacing because he’s just a plain better jump shooter. Kobe moves well without the ball. You can criticize Kobe all you want but he has higher basketball iq than Westbrook

Having Westbrook is basically like having Prime Oscar on your squad. MVP player with a bunch of triple doubles. Except Westbrook is the all time leader in it.

Lol. AD + old Bron + 3peat Frobe? Come on. Lakers should be the favorites, easily.

LeBron, Kobe & Davis?

Lol they’d steamroll. Kobe was a menace defensively back then too.

All 3 elite two way players - ez title.

Yeah, except Westbrook and Oscar are nothing alike and this version of Westbrook is significantly worse than even the worst version of Oscar.

01 Kobe would easily be the best player on that team. Not sure LeBum would be able to deal with that.

Yeah, they'd work great together. If there were any personality issues on this team I'd suspect it be the palpable disdain Kobe would show for Davis's injuries.

Not to mention LeBron has clearly been ready to give the reigns to AD. Having a young prime Kobe on this team would allow LeBron to be more like 2020 LeBRon, scale back the scoring, be a true PG, and focus on defense. That team would be a heavy favorite in the PS if Kobe and LeBron stay healthy.

Based on what? Lebron this year is averaging almost 3 more fgs per game than AD.
