Hopefully we will see an adjustment to the mandate soon, the Nets seem to be signaling that they know something is about to change.

Regarding Brown, I've lost all faith in him this year and would rather play our 3 + D rookie Edwards over him in the rotation.

We can't have Ben out there with non shooters in the backcourt.

If we can get Kyrie full time, and Harris back by April, I really like our chances.

Well your main 8 guys are: Durant, Kyrie, Simmons, Drummond, LMA, Griffin, Curry, Mills
All have decent impact stats..

Brown, Edwards, Carter, JJ, Thomas are all kind of poor on impact stats but you need one of these guys to step up, for rest of the season it will be interesting to see who will work with Simmons the best.

Edwards is a positive... issue is his playing time began when it was just a tanking/injured harden or 0 stars with harden sitting out.

Edwards has been fantastic

the bembry move F'd us a bit

Kess' 3 point shooting has come back down to earth a bit at 35%, but this is also due to the fact that we literally have skeleton crew line ups with him out there. Get him in the rotation when we are at full strength and I can see him consistently shooting 37-38% with decent volume.

between Cam, Kessler, and Sharpe, Marks had ensured that we will have some nice assets going forward along with the two Philly picks.

I'm JAFFO's #1 fan... But the trade for Harden, as others have said, you make 100 out of 100 times.... LeVert is another guy I'm a fan of but he's plateued and his overall efficiency remains lackluster. Good swiss-army knife to have, but you don't let him holdup the move for a perennial MVP candidate.

Another thing to mention. Simmons is a good as anybody to play defense on giannis. Giannis will definitely get his stats but Simmons is probably one of the better guys who can defend him better than most. This helps KD lots and the rest of the team.

It was always ridiculous that KD was expected to be the primary option on offense and primary defender on defense, especially given that it was post-Achilles.

Marks seems to be a wizard at building teams up, but I question his ability to identify what’s needed to finishing off/“polishing” a contender.

Nah, Giannis abused him every time they met.

Obviously I don't have any insight in Simmons condition, His mental problems might be real or fake, I don't know. But what I do know is, that they actually could very well be real.

I don't want to go into details, but I had serious depressions some years ago. They were caused at work, but actually by a girl I fell in love and who treated me like ****. I struggled for months, cause I had to see her every day and it seriously affected work. The mental illness was real. I decided to put an end to the situation and quit/changed work. The day I arrived at the new work place, I was fine. I did not see her anymore. My depressions were gone by the day I changed work/had a true change in life.

What I want to say with this is, that people who don't know **** about anything should shut up. Simmon's struggles may be real or not, but to call him out via twitter without knowing anything about his condition is just low. The report about him being emotional in a phone call with kd at least indicates that his mental struggles had a real basis.

I can empathize with that. I've been in absolutely toxic work places before and it greatly impacted my mental health. Ever since I landed at the company I work for today back in 2014, things have turned around a lot for me. Sometimes a change of scenery will do wonders for the mind, especially if you actually like working with the people around you and are treated fairly.

I don't know what happened with Ben and the 76ers, but he seemed to be in good spirits last night being around our team and the morale of the team in general was boosted by having him and KD on the bench in support.

Well well well...I told you that the dirt was going to come out, Prok

Kevin Durant Initially Resisted James Harden Trade, Pushed For It At Deadline

Kevin Durant was reluctant for the Brooklyn Nets to trade James Harden at the deadline, but faced the reality of the situation and gave his approval.

"KD didn't want to get rid of James," one person familiar with the two superstars said. "But he knew it was over."

"Kevin was like: 'F--k it. James isn't bringing s--t," another figure with knowledge of Brooklyn added. "I don't think that would have happened without Kevin making that decision."

I told you bro  things were not good in that locker room. Harden hated Kyrie, and KD had gotten sick of Harden.

This Harden story proves how much of a cancer the guy was.

No wonder he sucked all year. Dude wants to part in Houston and Vegas every chance he gets. No commitment to basketball.

Hes like Allen Iverson. You can do that in your 20s. Once you enter your 30s it catches up with you.

Not to mention the hamstring issues are constant. Lets see him play healthy all year lol.

While I think B. Simmons is a great fit - does not require a number of shots - I was hoping Brooklyn would flip B. Simmons to either Utah for D. Mitchell or to NOP for CJ McCollum.

And while at it, send K. Irving to Indiana for M. Turner or D. Sabonas or Houston for C. Wood. Houston would have to move him for picks and young talent.

My thinking is great young talent around K. Durant sustains the franchise.

Image J. Durant, M. Turner, S. Curry D. Mitchell. All team approach players.

I'm sure it was an honest mistake & not a leverage play to ensure that Philly agrees to extend him before he opts in.

He's wants the biggest contract that he can get. It's why he didn't extend this past offseason. It's likely a big reason he wanted out assuming Tsai or Marks had any reservations about giving him 5 years this offseason.

It's Philly's problem now. Ben indicated that he'll be ready to go by March.

dude spent the deadline partying in Houston. I'm wagering this was 100% a mistake

You don’t make mistakes like that after demanding a trade. He still has no agent. That’s on him. Good luck with that, Philly fans.

Let’s see all that bravado and booing when he’s making 220 million and partying with Meek Mill between playoff games.

They really think they did something special marrying a guy who cheated on two of his exes and a well known party guy.
