If you have Durant then Kyrie is irrelevent.
Imagine quitting because you have 2 superstars instead of 3.
Stop pretending like its ok to just openly quit in the middle of the season because of Kyrie being an idiot when have **** Kevin Durant.
This mentality is why Harden has never won ****.
Harden owes you nothing, just how you think that Kyrie doesn't owe you to get vaccinated.
Durant is out with a knee ligament injury. There is no definite date for his return. We don't know what shape he will be in when he comes back.
Our season is over.
But go on.
Stop using Kyrie as an excuse. Just cause hes being an idiot doesn't mean Harden can be too.
Harden owes us nothing? We gave up a ton of assets for him! He demanded to be here. And then he quit on us.
KD is a few weeks away and has said so on multiple occasions.
If Harden is an MVP he would take the challenge. Instead of running away like a **** coward.
What did KD do when Harden kept hurting his hamstring cause hes a fat piece of ****. He played without him with no complaints.
If you really cared about the Nets you wouldn't excuse someone **** on this franchise like this.
Hes worse than Deron Williams.
James Harden gave more to the Nets in half a season then Deron Williams did for several years.
And to that end, Kyrie makes Deron Williams look like a saint. Deron fell off, but at least he made himself available for work. He didnt just randomly disappear on game nights, or take games off to attend parties. If he was healthy, he played. Kyrie isn't even willing to do the bare minimum to make himself available, and he has said in public he feels no remorse about it, because he's a narcissistic, deluded sociopath.
KD has given no time table for his return. We don't even know if he will be ready to play in the first game after ASB. I'm not excusing the way Harden just flat out quit, but I do not blame him for wanting to get away from here and Kyrie. The guy wanted to win without having to play 40 minutes a night and play with guys that are all in. You know who is all in on winning right now? Joel Embiid. If I had a choice to play with an MVP level player like Embiid on a good team with excellent roleplayers and an experienced head coach or play with a hobbled Kevin Durant and an absolute moron like Kyrie Irving who isn't even available for most of the team's games, I would run, not walk, over to the 76ers.
Also, don't think that KD's role in protecting Kyrie hasn't played a part into why Harden bailed.
Again...I don't agree with how he just flat out quit in the Kings game, but I do not find anything wrong with him wanting out.
You are utterly delusional thinking that a player of Harden's caliber should choose to stick it out in a clearly losing situation. Kyrie threw this team into chaos from September onward, and Joe being out for the season made things even worse. KD's injury was probably what made Harden realize its not worth it. And he's right. I wouldn't want to go to war with a clown like Kyrie. He sabotaged our season.
Don't question my fandom. If I didn't love the Nets I would have given up on this franchise years ago, and yet I still am in it despite knowing that they are going to disappoint me again and again.
