Can you imagine Cody back in the WWE? The feud with Orton could be very entertaining - mixing Riddle in there.

Hopefully they don't go with a couples fued thing with the Rhodes' vs the Miz' vs the Edge's.

I wonder... is it possible Vince wants Cody to be his successor running the WWE - now that HHH and ShaneOMac seem to be on the outside looking in more and more?

Let's face it - I doubt Cody expected Tony K to become such a hands on owner. Much of what Khan's doing is what Cody used to do. It's possible Cody wasn't pleased with that and assumed it meant his power at AEW would continue to decline - and this is Cody thinking ahead.

I just wnt to know what the WWE is offering to make Cody walk from AEW. New reports are that he and everyone in AEW were on good terms, no friction at all with the other higher ups. AEW was fully under the impression that he & Brandi were resigning. He was making $3mil/year + all sorts of creative control for him and his wife.

I'm gonna say it this way. Look at what's happening. AEW is doing exactly what WWE/NXT did when they were bringing in to much tallent. All these debuts all these "stars" coming in will take it's toll. Not that being said look at what the Khans do with the jags, they tend not to resign high prices pieces if they can replace them cheap and younger. I bet Cody wanted more money and just as much if not more tv time. And Tony is sitting here looking at guys like black, Andrade, Lee, the list goes on and why do they need Cody? They don't. So he probably played hard ball with Cody and Cody said naw, I'll take my chances.

Now that being said I can see Cody maybing coming in and being the guy who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and tell Vince what's going on. Like the nock Kahn isn't stupid of he sees Cody and you can grab part of the mind that out up such a fight against you and maybe deply a little of that. **** it here's 5 mill let's go.
