I suspect Bol Bol will be on the roster next season.

Bol fits everything the Magic look for and yet people are in denial about whether he is in their future plans. Lol

If nothing, Bol will be an interesting practice squad player for Isaac to train with. Assuming he is healthy, I do think he makes next years roster. Is he a 10th man or a 14th man in that though.

For me his development is still far off from equating to court time.

Regardless of whether or not you like Bol Bol, this is going to be an interesting situation to see play out. After Detroit nixed the deal for a failed medical, everyone associated with Denver expressed surprise. Apparently nobody in Denver's organization believed he was injured before the deal, which might explain why Detroit decided to cancel it. They weren't going to get to look at his medical info until the deal was hashed out and if Denver was giving them assurances that he was healthy, then finding out otherwise probably made Detroit feel as though Denver was negotiating in bad faith and that the terms of the original agreement were no longer valid.

Bol decided to get surgery and is supposedly only going to be out for two to three months. That was about a month ago. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he doesn't play this year, but this shouldn't drag on into next year. If it does, I'm sure Orthoman will get some mileage out of it.

Mystery about Bol is why he played 8 g league games in 3 years if he was inactive rotation player of main roster for majority of time.

If there is one thing that Nuggets love to do is to go out of their ways to find PT for every player they draft . Monte Morris ( 51st pick), Hyland (26th pick, rookie , starting now ) , Nnjaji are just few examples. Nuggets even use Vlatko Čančar from time to time ( 49th pick)

Focusing on the positives, he's certainly skilled. I'd say far more skilled than Bamba. It'll be interesting to see if a change of scenery with potentially a larger role can reinvigorate him and get him to consistently fully engage on both ends of the court.

It's been a blessing for Carter, but it's required him to give maximum effort, stay healthy, and improve his game. Bol will have to prove he can do the same.

My biggest question about welcoming him to our group is....

What is the deal with all the smoke coming out that he is a bad locker room influence? We got a lot of young impressionable young guys here. I don't want them to sulk or be a negative if they are around bolbol

I forgot we got this guy at the trade deadline for a 2nd rd pick we would have just sold. In college he was pretty good(avg 21pt, 3blks,10 rb) so hopefully he comes back healthy enough to give us 8 meaningful minutes a game and thus a huge win in that trade.
