Furious comeback but no room for error.

Need Zu and Mann back in there.

Being on a back to back after beating the Warriors, I'm just glad the team fought. Not impressed with Phoenix either

that horrible pass selection during the fast break is why Reggie is such a frustrating player to watch.

Jackson is a big reason why we lost. Dumb turnovers and even dumber shots.

No idea why Mann and Batum never came back in either.

Fought hard no question but some really questionable decisions.

Well bad Reggie showed up at the worst time. Great effort by the team though. The Houston game has all the potential to be a trap game, so we better be ready Thursday.

Well, whatever, can't win them all, Suns have been closing out teams all season, hence them only losing 10 games all year, so with all the injuries and on the second night of a back to back, getting closed out by the Suns who are I believe the top clutch team this season is not really anything to say much about. It is what it is.

while that is true, we might lose the Lakers game because of the extra effort tonight.

Hope not, but I'm cool with the extra effort put in. Beating a team like the Suns would have been a nice energy boost for the players.

Ty Lue played Reggie the whole 4th, the result showed at the end. I know Bledsoe was mostly terrible for us, but at least he can take some pressure off Reggie running the offense.

Thought Lue should've incorporated a couple more players into the lineup because it was a back to back. I thought Boston could've used some of Coffey's minutes as he's been shooting the ball really well as of late. A few minutes maybe to Hood and not sure why Mann wasn't in the game late to give Reggie a spell who was playing on fumes. Still a close game. Not that impressed with Phoenix

Phoenix just did what really good to great teams have to do to be great. They blowout some teams, on average win by decent margins, come back from deficits and they close out the close games. Part of being a great team is not that you never have close games, it's that you figure out how to win in different circumstances which they have done. Phoenix is 35-0 when they lead going into the 4th. Basically so far this season, the aim is to hit them early and try to have a lead going into the 4th to have a better chance, of course easier said than done. They are a balanced team with very good star play and very good coaching.

With how Lue has coached, the Clippers when PG and Kawhi return should be just that kind of team, though it does help to have the ball handler like a CP3 alongside those types of scoring threats in Kawhi and George, but we'll see if we can find that player, because Paul George is not that guy. He's tried, but he doesn't know how to read the floor, the pace, where to get the ball, what sets to run the same way a guy like CP and others do. Basically the Clippers to be fully "ideal" need the theoretical current NBA version of Dallas Jason Kidd (I know this player isn't real), because they don't need scoring from the PG, but they will still be fine without, just would be the icing on the cake.

In regards to the minutes. Reggie's minutes were generally positive. I'm assuming Lue is planning on spreading the minutes out more against a weaker Houston team and then there's the All-Star break after that, so with a 9 point deficit going into the 4th, I guessing he was hoping Reggie could have a stronger 4th since he had only played 24 minutes at that time. Certainly always a tough decision. Clippers also took advantage of the Elfrid Payton minutes. I'm assuming Phoenix is really missing Cameron Payne everytime they find themselves having to play Payton in close games, and Payne isn't even that good, but Payton is really bad.

Okay, don't know why I thought you meant Rockets game, Lakers game is after the break, this game has no barring on that game over a week away.

Yeah, the losing sucked, especially with how the squad fought but still not a game to be down, at all. On a SEGABABA, going from #2 to #1 in the standings and still were in it until the end isn't something to scoff at. If the PG news is true, about a mid March return, I could see Dragic giving the Clippers serious consideration and it would be nice to get someone that is near a true PG for the scoring droughts.

I was very proud of that team last night. Without their TOP THREE players, they had a lead with several minutes to go. Best record in the NBA and they had to have some extra pop to just beat the Clippers. Sure I would have liked a win, but an outgunned team on enemy territory, playing the team with the best record... (by six games) and we made them sweat. Phoenix should not want to see us in Round 1 if even 2 of our 3 best are back.. Let Kawhi and either Powell or PG join that battle and its not close. Like we've said all season, we just have to hang around until Mr. Leonard comes back... and now also Powell or George... I am not ready to throw in the towel.
The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.
