This team's season is over. Even if AD can return at some point, LA will most likely be out of the top 10 by that point and there won't be any reason to bring him back. Fitting end to a dreadful season.

Well, that was easily the most unexpected W of the year :D . Lakers couldn't have looked more dead when AD went down.

Glad LeBron redeemed himself from what was undoubtedly the worst qtr of his career against GS.

Westbrook with B2B good showings! Made a bunch of big plays in the 4th.

Don't see how this team survives without AD for long, but we'll see.

LMAO the most unexpected comeback.

Also:

Last 6 games: 136 FGA, 21 FTA.

Lakers won the game with the LeBron/THT/Reaves/Monk/Westbrook lineup that went +11 in about 8 minutes to win the game.

37 year old LeBron is still the best scorer in the world against quality defenses + Giannis is the biggest fraud of all time

This Lakers recent defensive effort has me befuddled. Luckily for the other play-in teams Carmelo is coming back to fix that. Mitchell would have Gobert'd him on the other end instead of those bad shots.

He would have been Melo’d again just like he did to him in the playoffs a few years ago lol that was when we knew Mitchell was legit, he kept putting Melo in a blender and scored on him damn near every time.

Also, AD being out will mean more Bron at center lineups, he might get the scoring title yet.

Somehow I don't see Jokic on that graph.

Melo being out has helped a lot. Melo, Monk and Ellington are the worst defenders on the team by far and Lakers probably can only afford to play one of them per game.

THT and Reaves are the best guard defenders. Westbrook is third best.

Bradley is also not a great defender by most metrics, his over-aggressive style works with a rim protector but not without and I find it annoying that Vogel is sticking to this POA system but playing LeBron at 5.

I guess it depends on MRI results, if it's grade 3 he won't be back

The first 5 minutes were so good that it was inevitable AD would pick up an injury after that, as he was on course to hang a 40 on Gobert.

LeBron James 2021-22 Regular Season Thread - Part ?

AD with another lower leg/ ankle area type injury. He is still wearing those snazzy low tops, I see.

I asked this when he hurt his leg last season, but why is a man AD’s size wearing those goofy low top sneakers?

At this point, he should probably be bracing his legs up like Stephen Curry.
Don't believe the hype...

I'm glad we both agree LeBron was terrific in the 4th quarter!

Man I wonder if we are actually better off moving AD

I don't think it would happen, but I wonder

Realistically not sure if we can make this team a contender

Wasted assets (1st for Dennis, 1st in the Russ deal)

Let AC go for no reason

Still paying for Deng

What can we do this summer?

Feels like we need a ton of underrated and undervalued guys with real positive impact. Not just big names

Kenrich Williams would have been nice for this year and next
