Feels like a funeral in here

What's common about a dude's ankle bending almost 180 degrees?

You're right and every time AD goes down he looks like he got shot... Then most of the time he gets up and finishes the game...

That said, as the injuries pile up, it is starting to feel a bit like a funeral... Especially as an LA fan...

Yeah AD injuries that concern me are knee injuries, achilles issues and high ankle sprains. Otherwise it's not so bad.

Lakers need to win without AD for them to have a good shot at the championship anyway. I think their focus needs to be on building off the last couple games, producing chemistry. The season isn't over for Lakers, at least not more over than it was IMO.

That's a common sight in the NBA. The ankle rolls and the side of the shoe hits the floor.

Guys who have large growth spurts seem to be prone to injuries like TMAC . I recall Tmac saying he was gonna be a baseball player and then he grew like 9 inches in 1 year. AD used to be a 5'10 pg in high school and then grew around 10-12 inches in a 1 1/2 year span

Yeah, obviously this injury could be anything but at this point I've seen so many still images like this that look horrific and turn out to be nothing that I just can't assume the worst anymore.

He'll be out for a little while, maybe a couple of weeks, and that will be that.

As I said earlier it's a pain tolerance thing. AD doesn't have as high a threshold as other star athletes. Yes, last night was a bad ankle turn, but it's very rare in basketball that they wheel out a stretcher -using you get helped off/carried off by your teammates.

Sucks for Davis but it'll be a blessing in disguise because it just gives him more rest until the playoffs start

**If** they make the play-ins. Pelicans and Spurs are 4 games back with 5-5 records over their last 10 while the Lakers are 3-7 over their last 10 and now lost AD. It is entirely possible that they don't make the play-ins.

Team LeBron hasn't cared about the regular season in 10 past years why would this year be any different. They'll make the playoffs
