This is one of the main reasons LeBron will never be on the same pedestal as Jordan. It's as simple as that.
Whatever flaws Lebron has as a person are far outweighed by Jordan, a degenerate gambler, bully who chronically berated anyone he could, including physically at times.

Article is saying that Lakers may have to trade to make LeBron happy this offseason. Make the moves he wants them to make
Most people have seen him set up an exit before over and over if he doesn't win, is what I think it is.

Off the court, Lebron seems like a nice guy. A narcissist, yes, but he's isn't a bully.
On the court though, Jordan was a fierce competitor who didn't give up at the first sign of adversity.
As players, I have way more respect for Jordan. As people, I'd rather be friends with Lebron.

This. If LeBron wants to come back, he'll sign the for the MLE. He knows time is running out, a ring would boost his legacy greatly.
I'm concerned that the Lakers think they can get a huge package from the Cavs. He's 37 years old, giving up assets for him is a no-no.

You're talking out of your arse. There's no proof whatsoever that Jordan is a bully.

Kwame Brown is proof enough.

Lebron has never cared about optics. And neither have his fans.
Exactly. Media laying the groundwork again earlier than usual this time seeing as there's no chance for a playoff run.

why the hell would buss wait for lebron? lebron is not some god figure he was in miami. buss knows lebron gave up title he needs to get rid of him this off season. AD is already washed it is better to sell the duo and get 10 frps and rebuild with westbrook.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

cavs are lebron away you have to trade sexton, lauri, every frps for him. thats a title contender.
i would hate lebron ruining the franchise but for sake of mobley will do it considering cle is a fa wasteland. as long as gilbert controls lebron and his son and they bring 2 rings, it will be worth the hassle.

OrangeBlueSkies wrote:The Los Angeles Lakers might have to trade for LeBron James this summer.
James has clearly been offended by Lakers' management twice over the past two weeks. First when it elected not to make a deal before the Feb. 10 trade deadline after he had both publicly and privately prodded for something. More accurately, he expected it. And second when Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka stepped over the line when he announced James was on board with the status quo; a source told ESPN there was no prior sign-off from James.
He has been hammering the team's knuckles with rounds of trademark passive-aggressive maneuvers since, both on social media and in news conferences. Then he went aggressive-aggressive during All-Star Weekend in an interview with The Athletic in which he dropped lighter fluid on a previously bubbling concept that he might make one last return to the Cleveland Cavaliers before he retires.
Same as he was doing last week, in the wake of the trade deadline inaction, when he spoke about how his recent knee injury would likely bother him the rest of the season. The knee surely is an issue, but James was also laying the groundwork to give himself options depending on how the rest of the season plays out for the Lakers (27-31). What James is doing is likely aimed at one primary goal: Force the Lakers into major action this summer. He tried to do it nicely and now he’s doing it harshly.

Say what you want about Windhorst, he obviously has legit NBA sources & has been right on ALOT of NBA news over the years. This could be LeBron trying to get major changes but it's also LeBron at the tail end of his career... let his gr8ness compete...
What this proves is that Lebron is always aware of any changes made to the roster and if he does not get his way, he is going to pout. Lebron does not care if the move is a good short term or long term move, he just wants something done. That is how the Lakers ended up with WB.
Lebron to Lakers - "Just do something! I don't care what it is...do something!!!"
What I would say to Lebron is, "That's the same thing I'm saying about you on the court, do something! Make us better!"
I'm so tired of the typical......

Sign and trade Lavine with Patrick Williams for AD....?
Bulls are not trading for a guy that barely plays and is made of glass. He is already on the decline.

Why would the Bulls do this?
If Lavine doesn't want to re-up with the Bulls.
Only LaVine won’t re-up with Bulls is if they don’t immediately offer him max. They will give that max at midnight. And even if they didn’t you could get something better than a broken down Anthony Davis for him.

Plus Klutch could work both ends here as they represent Zach, AD and Lebron. If Bron is calling Lavine telling him to come to LA and they get AD on board about returning back home, then Chicago doesn't have a lot of choice in the matter. Healthy AD/Vuc/Lonzo is enough to win the East imo.
LaVine loves playing with DeRozan, Ball and Vuc. He does not want to leave the Bulls.

The reality is that is there's no consensus.
So, as long as that happens, a debate can be had.
Particularly, I have LeBron currently at 4, behind Jordan, Russell and Abdul-Jabbar.

Right but when was the last time the Bulls lost a free agent to another team? Specifically a free agent they actually really wanted back and he signed elsewhere instead?
Ill save you time. It's never happened.
Bulls FO has the roadmap to re-signing Lavine already mapped out and they're on the same page with Lavine on all of this. As for the Lakers, without the Bulls assistance via trade, they cannot sign Lavine so it's a mute point. Unless Lavine demands out to join a disaster in LA and pulls a Simmons he isn't going to LA.
Even if he pulled a Simmons which he would never do he still wouldn’t get traded to the Lakers. The Lakers have nothing we want. Buss Down Davis isn’t worth much these days.
