Just tell us when/if you're coming back, mmmmkay?

You really don't think he's speaks to/has spoken to those people he mentioned?

Look, I get Rodgers brings some of the hate he gets on himself. But man, some of the hate (not saying you) he gets is a little over the top. People acting like he's Antonio Brown or something.

As part of the culture who eats it, my mom makes her own, and let me tell you it is delicious!

But no way in hell would I eat only that for 3 days. That would be utterly disgusting and would ruin it for me forever, plus with the added bonus of 20% more clogged arteries, probably.

I've also never heard of this practice until today, so not certain how common it is.
Never heard of it but I like butter so I'd give it a shot.

I personally stay away from cleanses. Years ago I drank some epsom salt to clean myself out and might have taken too much because the next 24 hours were something I never want to experience again.

Great with vegetables. We also do fried eggs (with onions, tomatoes, peppers) over rice with ghee on it.

I tried the lemon cleanse once. Pointless I thought.

It's literally Favre 2.0

I remember when Favre said he had some big announcement to make at his golf outing one year. Made it seem like he was going to announce if he was retiring or not. It ended up being something totally unrelated and he didn't answer anything related to football. These guys love the spotlight and will do everything possible to stay in it.

And suckers like us feed into it. I sat there all day waiting for that Favre announcement.

We have to extend Jaire now while he is cheap. If he plays this entire season he is going to price himself out of GB. Extend him now and it helps this year as well as next.

Ghee is wonderful. Just clarified butter, which means you cook it and take the solids out. Makes it lactose free, too (which is why I eat it).

But yeah that cleanse sounds absolutely horrible. Oh and also - and again - so sick of him and hate that we could potentially turn our team upside down to keep him only to lose him anyways or have the same fate as the past five years. Wish we'd trade him for a haul and move on, tbh.

Little late for that. He's already priced himself into getting a contract that's gonna make him a top 3 paid corner

Jaire's cap number for 2022 is $13.294 million. An extension could lower it but I don't think by a whole lot.

Gute's presser was a big nothing as expected (what GM is going to tell you what they're going to do in advance). A few things from Bill Huber

- Noting the team’s cap issues, Gutekunst says they’ve been planning for this for months so it’s not a really big deal, like it is to some fans/reporters.

- To get to the cap won’t require a “fire sale” of veteran players being released. Could be a combination of restructures and some veteran cuts to get to the cap, though.

- On Kenny Clark restructure: “There’ll be many more that we touch” to get to the cap. Will keep options open to create space as needed. Says that was an easy decision.

- Gutekunst feels “very confident” that the team can build around Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams getting new contracts. “You work around” have big contracts on good players.

- Gutekunst on using franchise tag: Would rather come to an agreement but “it is a tool to protect one of your star players.”

- Gutekunst called using the franchise tag on Davante Adams a “hypothetical.” Would rather reach a “long-term deal that helps both sides.” He says Adams “could possibly” be allowed to leave in free agency.

I thought him answering how he viewed the draft, was interesting. He was quick to name offensive weapons this year while also mentioning some of our weaker spots are deep this year. I could see Gute continuing his changing the Packer norm and swinging for a receiver in round 1 if they feel other areas of need are deeper this year. Especially if Davante ends up being one of the tough decisions they have to make. Land a topflight wideout in the draft and the sting of losing your star wideout is less severe.

I was working in television at this time and was called in, on a Saturday morning, in case he announced his retirement.

We all sat around the set for a few hours and went home. What a waste of time.

Gute won't say it but there's no doubt Crosby's job is up for grabs.

Bill Huber

Three things are true regarding the Green Bay Packers and venerable kicker Mason Crosby.

One, he is coming off one of the worst years of his career.

Two, he will turn 38 just before the 2022 season starts.

Three, the Packers are well over the salary cap and releasing Crosby could help get the team in compliance.

That doesn’t necessarily mean a fourth thing – that Crosby will be released and there will be a changing of the guard at kicker – is going to be true.

On Wednesday, one day after signing kicker Dominik Eberle, general manager Brian Gutekunst spoke for more than an hour with reporters. Does the addition of a third kicker mean Crosby has attempted his last kick for the Packers?

“Oh, no, no no,” Gutekunst said. “No, no, no.”

Gutekunst chalked up Crosby’s problems to the problems on special teams as a whole. At the end of training camp, Gutekunst acquired punter Corey Bojorquez from the Rams, meaning a late change at holder. At midseason, Gutekunst released long snapper Hunter Bradley and replaced him with Steven Wirtel. There were continual issues with protection, starting with Crosby’s game-winning field goal at San Francisco in Week 3 and continuing with the killer block just before halftime of the playoff loss to San Francisco.

How is this like the Favre fiasco? Rodgers never said anything about making an announcement.

What's happening with Rodgers is NOTHING compared to what Favre pulled his last few years here. Not even close.

It doesn't have to be a 1 to 1 comparison for this to be a Farve 2.0 situation. (hense the "2.0" part)

And it's VERY EASY to argue that the crap Rodgers pulled last year was worse then anything Farve pulled. And not just worse but WAY worse.

There's a reason why so many in the fan base are just done with a QB that just won back to back MVPs and its not because people don't really like having an MVP QB
