On 35 shots though wowee, not that he was inefficient, just a lot of shots ha

Yeah, I almost mentioned 17-35, which I think is fairly impressive, given that many shots, but it's not like 60% or something so I figured people wouldn't find it as impressive. But it's still 1.4 pts per shot, which is really good. A lot of players sometimes take close to as many shots as they score points, and people just focus on points.

Some other big games too. Embiid had 42, 14 and 5 and 3/4 from 3 and that's with fouling out. Giannis with 32, 11, 9 and 3 steals...also 2/4 from 3.

Yeh, I always wonder how helpful it is for the team to have someone take that many shots, even if it is efficient.

I know he had plenty of assists but it must disheartening as a teammate to have one guy get so many shots up.

They did win today, but haven't won much when it matters.

The East is crazy. 7 game difference in loss column between 1st and 8th seed. 7 between 1st and 2nd in the West for comparison.

Even their play-in games will be good. There are a legit 9 playoff teams in that conference, and the tenth team is the Hornets. Meanwhile, some abysmal squad will join the mediocre Wolves, Clippers (mediocre unless they're playing us) and Lakers in the WC play-in.

I wonder if Zion is coming back at all and how abysmal they would be with them. The Spurs often play tough as well.

Don't know what the word is; sad, ironic... But it's likely the guy will end up missing a ton of games all in the name of keeping him healthy to play a ton of games. With news that his foot may be heading towards another surgery and having dealt with lower body injuries in his young basketball career, it's not absurd to think he will retire early.

I do not think he will have a real NBA career. Lucky to get his second contract - some fool will obviously give it to him, based on his talent and the "P" word.

It says a lot that every since 2008 the talk about Lebron going somewhere else has been non stop. He basically uses teams and other players to achieve his personal goals. It's all that matters with him. **** everyone else.

Aside from that one offseason where we briefly courted Lebron, I would hate for the Suns to lay out the red carpet for him to join the team now. The Suns now have its own identity, led by a good dude in Monty and we just went to the Finals. It would make me sick for Lebron to stroll in and this becoming the Lebron James show where he'd move 2-3 of our core guys for one aging "superstar" then after a year of it not working, gets rid of Monty for one of his guys, moving another core dude and multiple future FRP's for a semi-star only to leave us with no identity, a hefty tax bill and half a roster with remnants of past their prime player when he retires or signs with the Sacramento Kings to play with Bronny.

Does anyone still think that Poetl couldn't be a legitimate consideration via Ayton sign "n" trade IF Saver and Jones don't intend to offer him the max? Again, Murrays' and Poetls' combined salaries would equate to around 27 million in contrast to whatever Aytons' max might become? At the very least, I have no doubts that he's a serious target on the considerations list!

Ballislife.com (@Ballislife) Tweeted:
Ja Morant put on a ridiculous show in the win vs the Bulls

46 PTS (Franchise-High)
20 PTS in 3rd Quarter
15/28 Shooting
3/4 Threes

1 1-Hand Oop

Man! Morant is becoming something truly special. I know that the discussion of the draft is more or less seen as a fruitless debate since our front office is apparently shortsighted and cares nothing for development with interest towards the future. And of course living in the moment is fine whilst we're still so dominant!

And as a result of that acceptance, I've predominantly foregone any draft discussion for this season. But what IF we actually had a chance to acquire a Ja Morant 2.0 to play with Booker in the backcourt going forward? One player that I've come across and still resonates with those distinct parallels is JADEN IVEY. I mention him as he'll likely be in the top 5-6 of the lottery. HOWEVER! IF Bwgood is right, and if the Suns would ( foolishly) look to trade Ayton for a cheaper alternative AND draft assets, I'd absolutely look at one of the teams in the top 5:
Detroit, Houston, OKC, Orlando, Sacramento. With us taking back a cheaper option AND the teams unprotected 2022 draft pick ( They can make the selection for us). I'd definitely target Ivey to give us a 2nd chance at a Morant level G/SG to put beside Book with our core going forward. Best part would be that he'd still be on his rookie scale contract. So he'd be cost controlled for 4 yrs too!

And for anyone who maybe unsure of Jaden Ivey and the Ja Morant Comparison, check out this clip:

And his Tankathon profile ( for BWgood).
https://www.tankathon.com/players/jaden-ivey
For the record, I truly hope that we choose to resign Ayton and find our Paul predecessor in free agency. BUT in any trade of Ayton in free agency, There's NO WAY that we should be getting anything less than an unprotected first back from one of these teams AS Ayton is an elite ( potentially) top 5 center ( soon) and was a #1 overall pick himself in a loaded draft. And has proven very effective in the playoffs against other nba elite bigs!!
