Jroy, what's up with my boy Elleby? Why is he playing so poorly?

I see hes finally getting some extended playing time, but he's really struggling. The defense and jumpshot he had at Washington State is non-existent right now.

He’s so damn terrible.

Can’t shoot at all, from anywhere.

Can handle the ball a little bit, occasionally make a defensive play but has no business in the nba.

I wish ya'll had more participation with the G-League. Really messes up the development of guys like Elleby not playing consistently. I hope the same doesn't happen to Greg Brown.

I like Brown more than Elleby as a prospect, but who knows what the roster will look like starting next year.

Chuma Okeke would be a great guy to target through trade.

He's a phenomenal perimeter defender and a bomber from three (attempts > accuracy when it comes to spacing).

And he's athletic af as a lob threat.

Will you do this trade in the offseason?

Kings:
Tobias
Thybulle

Sixers:
Barnes
Holmes

Sixers:
Harden
Maxey
Barnes
Holmes
Embiid

- Holmes is a lob threat with Hali. He can play same role with Harden. Holmes also can compliment Embiid on defense with Biid being the banger while Holmes can grab boards, shoot some and protect the rim
- Barnes is an expiring and can be a decent 3&D guy
- kings plays sabonis at 5. A week ago Harkless was playing some 4, now it’s Lyles.

Mitchell
Fox
Thybulle
Tobias
Sabonis

Tobias also have a shorter contract than Holmes.

Yup. He’s one of the under the radar 3&D guys

I would not trade Thybulle for Sacramentos garbage.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

I don't think the Kings would want to do that. Tobias is clearly a guy who wants the ball in their hands and they just got essentially a much, much better version of him in Sabonis.

As far as from a Sixers standpoint, eh, I guess. Barnes is a better contract and understands his role better.

Not interested in bringing Holmes back, much less starting him in a deal for Tobias + Thybulle.

Richaun Holmes is a bench big at best. He has no business starting for a contender.

I get what you're trying to do here, and I do agree we need to get way more athletic, add size and rim protection around Joel. Holmes just isn't the guy I'd go for.

I think Kleber is much better fit in Dallas. Similar rebounding and block numbers, but a legit floor spacer. He's an A+ compliment for both Joel and Harden. Holmes & Jo together is clunky in my mind.

Holmes as the back-up C? Sure
Barnes at the 4? Sounds good
Sixers now need two wings because Thybulle’s gone and Green is completely washed.

This would improve it:

PHI gets Hart, Holmes, and Barnes
POR gets SAC 2nd
SAC gets Thybulle and Harris

No. I have Holmes starting at PF and the only non shooter on any line-ups.

Holmes was a good lob threat for the Kings. He’s not a 0 shooter without touch like Ben. Holmes can play that role Thybulle play for us right now with his cutting to the rim, backdoor and roll. Defensively, he’s almost ideal at the PF for me with Embiid and possibly playing C with Harden.

Barnes gives you size and very reliable spot up shooting at SF.

You want a stretch 4 next to Embiid, although the idea of 2nd rim protector is solid. And I would be against playing Barnes at the 3. JMO.

Kleber and whatever bad money Dallas wants to dump for Tobias should suffice. Then Cov or Otto for the tMLE and dump Danny’s ass. And a real, live, functional backup PG.

I also want someone who can shoot and also provide what we need on defense. But those kind maybe expensive, specially when the asset im dangling is a player with a contract 2 years remaining while averaging 18ppg on solid percentages.

If I can get Kleber or Jerami Grant, im not complaining

Any sleeper guys you've always wanted in Philadelphia?

Mike Conley for me. Shoots 10 threes per 100 possessions at a 40+% rate, averages 9 assists per 100 possessions and has a 2% steal rate.

Can create his own shot, major analytics darling, thrives on or off the ball, smart and crafty player.

We need to raid Utah for more of Quinn Snyder's troops, Niang was like their 10th man. Imagine what Bogey or Conley would be doing here.

What do you mean “sleeper”? Guys who can be much better if they are on our team?

Less talked about.

I was really into the idea of Conley when I was trying to figure out how to work around the issues of Ben and Joel in the halfcourt. I like Conley because whlie a semi high profile player, didn't see untouchable. Also he can take over as lead ballhandler and run the offense, but can also thrive as an elite offball shooter and can operate the p&r with Joel.

I still think a Conley/Harden backcourt would be phenomenal.

If the best return POR can get for Hart is a SRP we will just keep him.
