Post#1 » by NetsWorld » Fri Feb 25, 2022 6:47 pm

Post your thoughts. Dragic is scheduled to play as is Kyrie, hopefully KD is back. Kyrie needs to back his words now. I predict a strong outing from the Nets and they FINALLY turn a corner and go on a rampage.

Nets win

Nets 120 Bucks 100.

Lack of continuity has destroyed the team's defensive cohesion... It's going to be a long night...

Love the optimism but don't see how the team can beat the Bucks in MIL by 20

If KD, KAI, and Dragic play it will hopefully be a close game though.

Probably...? The team without KD just hasn't proven capable of gutting out wins (regardless of whether Kyrie is playing).

And Simmons is such a wildcard that I don't know that he can be relied upon to save this sinking ship with only 22 games left...

The only reason for a sliver of hope is the idiotic play-in games which may save the day...

Yep. The only good team we've beaten is the Bulls and that was the only game we had the Big 3.

Now? Pfft.

It's over. I've come to accept it.

Dragic will make his Nets debut tomorrow night & Kyrie will play his first game with Dragic, Seth Curry & Drummond.

Read on Twitter

Kyrie / Dragic
Curry / Mills / Thomas
Brown / Edwards
Johnson / Griffin
Drummond / Aldridge/ Clax

Likely tomorrow’s rotation. Very excited to see how Kyrie, Mills, Curry and Dragic mesh together.

Yes!

I'll be interested to see how this fearsome foursome of guards fares against an elite defense such as Milwaukee. Goran adds an element of dribble penetration and finishing that can collapse a defense, and free up our snipers. It'll be tougher than Boston, but I still have faith that the best is still in store with this core.

Go Brooklyn!

Bucks are overall better than the Cs but we struggled with the Cs because their D isolated our only two ours shooters out on the floor. Kyrie,Mills, Curry and Dragic are four floor spacers as opposed to two.

I'm watching the Clippers who have lost both of their star players for the season play hard and play way better basketball than us.

Ty Lue was available and Sean Marks chose Steve Nash.

You guys can defend Marks all you want. Hiring Nash should be a huge black mark on his ledger.

I'm pretty sure we get blown out tomorrow regardless. Kyrie hasnt made a difference without KD all year.

Can't let the drama queen off the hook now; he has to live up to his words he said on twitch. Let his ass prove it now.

Kyrie is a clown. He isn't going to live up to anything. He's already told us how he feels: he's rich, none of this matters.

This train is going nowhere but off the rails.

Could be another embarrassing beatdown... But if Dragic can unlock some offense in the 2nd unit, then we could at least be more competitive than we were against the Celtics.

I'll be legit shocked if this isn't Bucks 20+ blowout middle of the 3rd quarter.

It's hard to be excited about anything surrounding this team right now.

The front office isn't being transparent about where Ben and KD are in their "ramp up" phase. No clue if Joe will ever come back.

Kyrie is a part time player and a clown talking about how good this team will be when he sits his ass at home most of the time playing 2K while we get blown out by 20+

Watching how crisp and energetic Harden looks on a team where all of their players are available and locked in makes me want to puke. I don't blame the man one bit. Look how much better he looked playing with a team that has actual coaching and guys who put winning first.

Meanwhile, we're sitting here wondering when the idiot mayor of NYC will lift mandates because Kyrie is a nutjob wacko scared of a needle.

This dude and Steve Nash just killed everything that we had going for us. I'm so sick of both of them. If you're mad at Harden for leaving, you're mad at the wrong person. Blame Kyrie. Blame Nash. Blame Marks.

I literally am starting to hate this team and everyone associated with it. KD chose Kyrie over Harden and now look. He owns this mess too. Put winning first. No one cares about that other horse sh*t why do you think we watch the team play?

I've been a fan since the early 90s and for the first time ever I'm questioning why i even root for this franchise anymore. I thought the goal of bringing KD and Kyrie here was to win championships, instead we're wondering if Kyrie will be available for the play in game and if Ben's mental health is suitable to even begin playing basketball. This is a mess.

I'm pretty sure Nash was overachieving last year with a depleted roster most of the time, I'm not sure where this "Nash can't get the team to play hard" or he can't beat teams with better talent stuff comes from.

It's been rough this year for sure, and we've been getting beaten down a lot recently, but our talent level really is that bad when you have our top 4 players in street clothes. Like seriously, no, the Clippers do not have similar talent to us while missing their 2 best players, because the rest of their players are still clearly better than ours.

People just aren't realistic with what we've got. We'll play better once we get our horses back.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
