After that first quarter--where the officiating was indeed very random+bad--the bad calls and excessive FTs stopped, and the Sixers still beat the Wolves by 21pts throughout the last 3 quarters. Think the Wolves only committed 8 or 9 total fouls in the second half and Sixers smoked em by being, like, better at basketball on all fronts.

Yea, I think this is the year for the 76ers, but I think the Nets will be strong af next season...assuming Kyrie can go full time again. Now is the time for the 76ers.

All the over the top trade responses were always way off.

This was a great trade for both teams

Hopefully we see then go at it in the playoffs

They didn't go to the line much in the 2nd half. I am not going to get bent about it. It is just one game. I am happy they won, and they looked OK, but the bench played like azz and outside of Embiid, Harden and Maxey (who were 29-for-46) they shot like crap.

None of this matters until the playoffs.

Yeah I'm not sure why anyone would think that. If they gave up Maxey in the deal, that'd be one thing, but they didn't.

Even if Harden is kind of on the decline, he should have enough in the tank to help out Embiid in his prime. The timing for this trade was right when you consider Embiid. I don't see how this wasn't a good move for the 76ers.

I guess you are not a regular here. This is the RealGM GB - where Seth Curry is a GAWD and the Sixers got FLEECED.

Maxey looks like he's going to be the big beneficiary of Harden, puts him into more of a combo/shooting guard role and lets him just attack without having to set up teammates.

The Harden/Embiid pick and roll or pop already looks like it's going to be a big issue, since both can punish mismatches.
