Not bothered about the loss but more worried about Pascal passing the flu onto the rest of the team. Don't need more absences at this stage of the season.

Team is trash. Siakam, Fred, OG, GTJ for John Wall. Only Barnes is off limits.

Honestly yeah but not possible now.

We do need a better, more promising young core.

We should strongly think about making a move for SGA.

Fred is overrated. Good player, but he ain't no All-Star. Just a high volume shooter who's a good defender. No other strengths.
Glad he got the nod, but I fear that it'll boost his ego and he'll begin to revert back to some of his old ways. Saw it tonight, where he looked off wide open teammates and drove into the paint trying to finish over Plumee & Bridges.

It was painful to watch Birch play. I really hope he doesn't start tomorrow. Guys a bonafide bum.

Happy to see a Raptors game, disappointed to see the outcome.

Hope we can bounce back and pick up the dub tomorrow.

We're definitely in a better position to tank than if we had tried this past summer. Van Vleet and Siakam's value is way higher and we'd get at least one more first rounder for each of them then before this season.

Why is Khem Birch costing us over $6 mil when he should be making the minimum?

He's a hard-working defender who has to blitz around and gamble for steals + causing chaos because he doesn't stand a chance when playing traditional man-to-man defense. This forces everyone to play the same style because when one guy is just hovering everyone ends up having to shift around as well. We have a team that boasts long defenders that can guard 1-4 but for some reason we never leave them to cover their own guys. i dont know how much this is on Nurse or Fred but the way they've handled the corner 3 is a symptom of this for the last 3 seasons.

Fred played 29:15 minutes which means he only sat for 3 minutes in the 1st half in a back to back situation with an injured knee.

because it was a panac signing when we couldn't land an actual big man. I remember it was quite last minute too.

Lowry made him look better than he actually was too. You don’t see Fred throwing those lobs to him like Lowry did.

I feel like birch/drummond got inverted contracts. I actually lobbied for drummond coming here last year when he was a buyout. He had the opportunity to look really good here, and not be under pressure should things go poorly. Playing with the lakers ended up tanking his value, just like I thought it would. He likely didn't even consider joining us. Lowry could've made him look great.

That much is obvious and explains our low assists totals.

The ball movement is lacking.

I'm not gonna say Lowry made him look better than he was, I'd rather look at it like chemistry and role definition can make a big difference in performance. Which is why I'm not dismissive of certain individuals as just not being the answer. Some guys skillsets fit well with different players in different systems. Our system doesn't seem to be able to make use of anyone unless they're individually talented and can create for themselves.

Product of Nick Nurse’s inept offensive capabilities as a coach.

It's painfully obvious and Fred doesn't make his team mates better.
