Between this game and my #20 ranked Texas Longhorns playing #10 ranked Baylor on Monday too, I am going to be watching sports allll night long.

How do they disperse the minutes? Is Gary Harris getting squeezed out? Is RJ Hampton?
You have five guards - Fultz, Anthony, Suggs, Hampton and Harris - all looking for minutes at the point and shooting guard positions.

Markelle’s offense probably won’t be all there, I expect we’ll see him scoring the ball like he’s capable next year. What I’m excited about is what Markelle can do for the other 4 on the court with him. His play making and set ups should do wonders for guys like Wagner, and Suggs offense. I have a feeling Wendell Carters going to love him. Despite his shooting issues, Fultz does so much right out there that doesn’t involve his own shot. Hell, Cole probably gets better playing with him.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to have him back in the rotation again, but I’m pretty convinced of what he is at this point and I’m not sure that player is a starting point guard in this league longterm, much less the All-star that some seem to think he’s still destined to become.

I do see a ton of potential to be the kind of point guard to make very timely pass plays and to get the offense flowing smoother. I think his ability to do that far exceeds anyone else on the roster currently, and I think that will sprout more improvements from the rest of the roster.
