Who do you have higher all time currently?

Vince Carter:
8x All-Star, 2x All-NBA (second, third), ROTY, 3rd all time games played, 6th all time 3pm, 19th all time scoring, 43th all time steals, Slam Dunk contest champion, Teammate of the year, Olympic gold medalist

Playoffs: East finalist with Orlando 2010, 4 times semi finalist (Toronto 01, Nets 11, Nets 12, Memphis 15)

Jimmy Butler:
6x All-Star, 4x All-NBA (third), 5x All-Defense, Most Improved Player 05', Steals Leader 21'

Playoffs: East champion with Miami 2020, 3 times semi finalist (Bulls 13, Bulls 15, Philly 19)

I don't see how the answer isn't Vince Carter.

Jimmy is a much better defender and has more toughness and grit but Carter would be insane if he had his prime in this era. Perfect offensive skill-set to thrive.

One season peak - easy Butler bc elite on defence, leader on offensive end.

Prime - Carter only due to health

Career - Butler is only 32y old, but health is the biggest question mark for him. He has no chance if will miss games in the future.

Carter because he won the slam dunk contest for a franchise that never won it before.

I'd say Carter, but Butler is also about to enter top 75(may have in).

Carter,T-Mac,Wilkins,Butler,George,Kawhi all are around same ranges, to me(top 70/80).

Unfair comparison. Butler will never get the teammate of the year award.

And he did it without Home Court Advantage.

I'm very high on both relative to public opinion. I think Vince suffers from not having a specific fanbase to prop him up since he left the Raps on bad terms and bounced around after that. He's super impressive through the RAPM lens, as is Jimmy of course. Their skillsets are very different but gun to my head I'll go VC

You think VC lacks a core fan base? He's one of the most popular players ever and is easily the most popular Raptor. If anything Jimmy Butler is the guy who has been around the league in his prime.

Raptor fans love VC, dunno where you got the idea he is hated. It's not like anyone cares that he left in 2022.

Carter is close to my top 50, Butler is not.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

It's Butler.
Carter played 20 years and never made the Finals.
Butler is also a better overall player. And he can lead a team. Carter was a scorer but overall he'll be remembered as an elite dunker (maybe the best).
The gap is going to grow.
