They can use their off arm in the key all day long it seems. Home cooking calls.

They drive for 2 and foul - rinse and repeat this Q.

2ND Q: SPURS 58

HEAT 61

We had a chance to tie it at the end there with a Devin 3 but he missed. He's been given a lot of these chances and I don't think he's made hardly any. Something to work on.

We missed three shots to end the Q that we were making in the 1ST Q or even earlier in the Q. Just not the right angles or footwork down low. Maybe it's the pressure of a closer game or fatigue setting in. Hopefully a half time reset will help.

We had 30 points in the paint in the 1ST Q and only 6 or so in the 2ND. They turned up the drive and foul game and we played into it. They got more physical and our feet it seems grew roots on all those fouls. 16-21FTs at the half for them to our 4-5. We were 3-4FTs in the 2ND Q so that's definitely something we can improve. But we keep getting caught on push off arm O fouls which cost us 4 points whereas they do it routinely and no foul. It's the vet/home issue. We benefit from it, too, at times, but we also have to be more savvy with it.

We also gave up a lot of potential points with 10 TOs in the 2ND Q. TEN. Brutal.

Every Spur who played has scored. Sixteen assists. Good.

Devin is the only Spur in double figures, and the only starter who has hit a 3. No bueno. This has to get better, too.

More discipline on D, more burst on O. Let's go!

Fresh off a double OT win and travel, we make a string of mistakes and Pop is completely unimpressed lol what a boss.

They finished the half on a 9-0 run and start the second half on a 7-0 run. So that's... bad.

Bad pass to, transition points given up, 5 second violation TO, 3... OOF... Pop timeout.

I guess even the refs were like **** it's too obvious we need to call some for that black and grey team.

I love Jimmy Butler and often wanted him to come here but WTF? That was the most offensive offensive foul I've ever seen and he's crying about it

Refs are like too many fouls in a row called for that black and grey team. We over-corrected. Whistle whistle whistle for them.

Primo makes the stupid turnover then fouls Butler and both Beadle and Sean Elliot at the same time praise him for not being afraid.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

OMG 3 plays later they are still talking about it. "If you just tuned in, you wouldn't know he was 19 years old" STFU!!!!

Don't think that Pop doesn't see it, though, which is ultimately what matters. For all the nice words publicly, Pop pushes Primo plenty:
Read on Twitter

(Then Lonnie got an earful a little later lol)

3RD Q: SPURS 97

HEAT 99

Well we had a chance to at least keep it a tie after we did well to get the steal, but Lonnie left foot to JRich wrong foot TO'd it and they scored on an end of Q shot. Just like Lonnie saved our fate yesterday with an end of 3RD Q J to put us ahead and give us the right mojo to stave off the 0-29 record when down after three Qs, we put ourselves in a position to have to work against that record now.

Lonnie to his credit didn't score until later in the Q, but once he started he got on a good roll and kept us ahead. It's weird that he drives into two and three defenders but he did get calls both times.

Tre's looking more comfortable running the team and balancing getting his shot with passing.

Primo's... well... on a steep learning curve despite some flashes.

Jock's shown a little something inside and out.

We need to settle down with the fouls and make some 3s as fatigue looks to be settling in.

Well. That escalated quickly. Wheels have well and truly fallen off. We need some roadside assistance. New tires and engine needed.

See THIS is the Lonnie I don't like - one and done J miss early in the clock, not even looking at anyone else. DEEP in the tunnel vision. Then he gets to the 3 shooter but keeps his hands down at his sides lol

But then he drives for the +1 and hits a contested 3 so some redemption, too.

I don't mind him shooting his shot, but it seems like having to think about passing takes him out of his scoring touch lol

Hopefully he gets the right balance.
