It looks like the Toronto scenario I brought up will come into play.

If we stay the 8 seed and Toronto stays the 7 seed we will have a road plain in game vs them.

At which point Kyrie will not be able to play since he can't center Canada.

I believe Toronto has already dropped their restrictions.

Its the country of Canada that won't let unvaccinated people in. A requirement i believe the US also has.

Less likely those restrictions are removed. But we will see.

OG is out for a while he just broke his finger... its not a lock we finish below them. if simmons is back for the 2 we play them next week, i like our chances. put him on van vleet or siakim and they dont have alot left offensively.

This isn't winning basketball stuff.

Every team who is in the running for a championship has a fully vaccinated roster. Heat? All in. Bucks? All in. Warriors? All in. Nets?

You can literally attribute Kyrie being a part time player to this season falling apart.

I blame KD for choosing this clown over Harden.

And everyone who defends Kyrie is a clown too.

Looks like were just a week and a half from having Kyrie back.

Thank God.

Things are looking better.

His first home game would be Knicks on March 13th.

Oh **** he’s going to drop a 74 piece and remind them of when they last were a contender!

Yeah we are going to f*ck them up.

Now we just need to get KD back and go on a tear to close the season to avoid having to play Toronto at home in the play in, or hopefully catching the 6th seed

I think Shams is wrong about this. The private sector mandate won't apply to Kyrie because hes not an NYC resident.

Nevermind. Apparently I'm wrong. The mandate applies to all NYC employees.

Who knows if they lift that mandate anytime soon. Such BS.

This is the mayor's press secretary. So clearly, Adams is about to act like a moron. I told you that this dude was a tool.

The Nets need to defy the mandate in protest. This makes zero sense that Kyrie can enter Barclays come march 7th, but can't play. This is no longer about public health.

I'm not in the US so I don't know if i'm missing something but wouldn't the mayor have been better off leaving the rule as it was because this rule is even more foolish and unfair. No matter your stance on the vaccine surely it makes no sense that an unvaccinated player can play at the Barclays but Kyrie can't now it appears that Kyrie can go to Barclays and sit on the bench but he still can't play. Its madness!

That’s wrong reporting by Shams.

The man clearly said entertainment venues which is a private sector. That wouldn’t hold any weight if the entire Key2NYC is lifted which is what the vaccine card is.

Either way, even if we paid any kind of fine. That likely would be waived by the NBA and most likely the league will eat the fines which has been the theory thrown around very often which is why Adam Silver spoke out.

No hes right.

It does exempt entertainers. But its separate from the private employer mandate. Which makes employees of large companies be vaccinated.

This rule is beyond absurd at this point. The Nets should consider suing NYC.

How can you possibly allow fans in the stands to not be vaccinated? But force Kyrie to be.

They need to repeal the private employer mandate as well. Its just idiotic at this point. No more mandates.

Adams is an idiot for not changing the rule. He even admitted how stupid it was. And he left it in place.

Keep the employer mandate. Create an exemption for athletes and entertainers.
