Isiah bodies Charles Oakley saying Giannis would have been a bench player in the 1980s

We are 1.5 games behind Charlotte for the 10th spot, they are better than we are so I don't see how we beat them out, we certainly aren't going to catch Toronto, Brooklyn, & Atlanta who are also ahead of us.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 5
Lakers lost to Dallas...seven games under .500, just two wo games from falling out of the play in.
The Wizards gave them Russ.
Tonight, Dinwiddie helped Dallas win. He and Rick Brunson are really good together and Doncic seems to be even more effective with them in his backcourt.

The Wizards shoukd have drafted Derik Queen

I get the frustration - he's basically playing center, but body language like that and not hustling back on D... ouch.

The Lakers went from three points behind to begin the third quarter to almost 30 points behind before the fourth began. What an epic beat down by the Clippers.

Believe it or don't, the Lakers and Clippers might face each other in the playins.
JJJ of Memphis got a +47 in less than 24 minutes. He's quietly become one the top few defenders in the game. Still hasn't become a consistent offensive player for whatever reason but a big key to Memphis' success.
Giannis... the definition of consistency except for 3's and FT's: 4 for 4 from 3 tonight. 39 points on 19 shots in less than 28 minutes. Night after night, he's the most energetic player on the court.

Philly lost that deal big time if they don’t win it all this season.
Seth Curry destroyed his old team.
Philly also gave up two first round picks!
As you allude, playoffs James Harden had better produce or he’ll be hated in Philadelphia just as badly as Westbrook is hated by Lakers fans.

I watch gills pod cast alot and he made a really good point. Points win games. You have to score. Curry was more important to the. Than thybulle they should have kept curry. Period. If you had to loose thybulle or Springer or who ever. Fine curry should have been kept.Chocolate City Jordanaire wrote:FAH1223 wrote:76ers getting a sneak peek of playoff Harden in this big game against the Nets!

Remember long-ago when several here were pleading for the Wizards to sign this guy from the NBDl/GLeague, just as we did for Christian Wood.

Seth was enormous in last night's game - so much better than Harden was. What a great win-now addition he was for Brooklyn. Can you imagine winning the East in the regular season and then having to play Brooklyn in the first round of the playoffs?

After watching that, I had to watch the other interviews/podcasts with Redick and Beverly - such good honest inside hoops. Loved what he said about Kawhi Leonard on the one featuring how difficult it is covering Doncic.

Jeebus, that just barely missed doing serious damage to Barnes' face. And look at that replay - Lebron could have easily passed the ball to any of 3 open teammates - rather than trying to hurt Barnes. Gotta give Barnes a lot of credit for remaining calm.
