Gordon doesn't even really pretend to wanna do MMA anymore as far as I'm aware (I don't listen to Rogan's show anymore). Galvao claims to be doing MMA with One, but yea we shall see I guess.

Ya the Gordon doing MMA thing seems pretty much all but dead. I listened to him talk about it on Rogan, it was essentially he wanted to do it but Danaher doesnt want him to because he is too important to grappling.

I honestly think Gordon makes enough money now doing BJJ that he doesnt want to take the risk of doing MMA. The dude has an ego and I dont think he wants to start from the bottom again. I think he's just going to stick with BJJ. Before he would always talk about how he wanted to do MMA and couldn't wait to transition to it. Now he rarely talks about it and the times he does people have to bring it up. So ya I doubt that happens.

All of that is spot on. He used to claim it was his goal but now he never does. He refuses to address fan questions about it anymore. I don't blame him at all btw, dude is loaded and doesn't need to take brain damage, seems like a sweet deal to me.

The last thing I heard is that he is going to transition to MMA once someone else on his team takes his place as the dominant guy in grappling. But with his entire team leaving him (outside of Danaher and Tonon), the chances of that happening are literally zero.

He's complaining about his kids pre-puberty, being introduced to same-sex relationships. In response, he...has his kids declare their sexuality (or, rather, declares it for them).

What an emotional midget to even think that this is somehow a threat to him, his sense of self, or his family. The narcissism to, 1. See gay guys, 2. Panic that it is about him or his kids being gay. That's pathological narcissism. WAIT ARE YOU CALLING ME GAY?? Dude, literally can't divorce his own desires or family honour from the existences of other people.

I remember Firas having some real weird ideas about about science and religion from when he was on Rogan's show several years back. I probably didn't bring it up here because I'm secretly scared of all the Canadians on this board.

1. Avert your eyes when you see a Canadian, American bug. Lest we have GoRapstheOriginal knock you down a peg.

2. Zahabi is obsessed with the fact he has an undergrad degree in philosophy from a third-tier uni. He never neglects a chance to mention it, it's even in his Twitter profile to this day (20 years on!). He clearly thinks it makes him some unique intellect. FWIW and IIRC, he mentioned Thomas Kuhn on that Rogan episode. It's a pretty common view of science (I subscribe to it), taught in the first day of every Phil of Science class.
