Scottie grew up in the team USA system, Pascal was late to the game of basketball, it shows

Oh and I'm sticking with my prediction of four straight wins after those two blowouts. Halfway there

Lol way to go out on a limb with your prediction. I’d be so disappointed if we didn’t win 4 in a row given the competition we are facing in this stretch. Especially after two pathetic blowouts.

I guess you forgot how much Detroit has killed us over the past few years, and Cleveland isn't a guarantee W either.

If anything, Cleveland is looking at the Raptors like the Raptors looked at Cleveland in the past.

Cleveland is a very good team.

Thad hit some huge threes, Flynn hit some clutch shots and GTJ sealed the win with some CLUTCH free throw shooting...but I still can't believe that garbage 6th foul on Siakam lol.

This win mostly comes down to Scottie though. The off-balance jumper with the shot clock winding to give us a lead with 4 minutes left was unbelievable...and then he followed that up with a couple big boards, a beautiful pass to Thad for a dunk and a massive block on Curry late in the game. That all-star break was the best thing for Scottie. He's playing some of his best ball of the season (20/9/2 on 70% shooting in the last 4 games) and making a serious push back to the top of the ROTY ladder.

I mean hold on, Siakam was flat footed, reaching in on Seth's drive.
Sure, Seth drove into his body, but Siakam's arm was directly across the path and he wasnt moving either way - thats been a theme with Siakam for a couple years, reaching on the perimeter instead of playing proper D

Even totally ignoring working on his game, it is going to be great when he gets a few more years of offseason training to further strengthen up and continually build on his conditioning.

Except for the fact that those were absolutely the correct call. Aldridge was doing nothing but standing in the paint in their zone all night long, often for a lot longer than 3 seconds. Honestly, he probably should have been called on a bunch more a lot sooner than the 4th quarter. Nurse probably got on the refs about it.

Any one of Trent/Scottie/Siakam would have sufficed. We don’t need to roll out lineups with four bench players.

Four bench player lineups are the best. The bench mob season was one of my favorites.

Our current bench is nowhere close to that level. There’s no need for the hockey subs.

Especially against zones. He made the sweet dish to Thad from the foul line. Earlier Thad made a dish from the same spot for a dunk, Boucher I think. But mostly vs the zone we didn't put a man there. Easy to beat that zone just put one of those two good passers there and get them the ball, they'll make a play. Most of the game was painful watching our zone offense

No I'm not spinning this one to make siakam look bad. Thay defense happens all game. The refs pick and choose when they wanna, call it. And they never call it for siakam but they call it against him. Soakam is constantly shafted by the whistle. I've never seen a first option player attack the rim so much with nothing to show for it.

It's a development season. I'd rather hockey subs then watch guys play 40 mins game of ugly basketball in losses.

Good win against a motivated team after last night. They almost got us with the Def switch up vs bench and young PG. Had to stop that 11-0 run.

We have a Toronto Raptors jersey on, you should never ever expect fair whistles. Ever.

Originally, I was being sarcastic and trolling.

Now that you bring me back to reality out of my troll zone...the original post kind of makes sense.

Yeah but thats my point. That ones not on siakam. We can't just expect him to not play defense to avoid the whistle. He did what he had to do. It wasn't a blatant foul he moved his feet and bumped Curry with the vody while he was driving into him and refs called ot because Curry fell. And because it's siakam.
