I also assume this means the FO has next to no faith in Bouk being able to contribute at the moment.

If they thought he could, I wouldn’t think we’d need Thomas.

You typically don't use 10 days on guys you need. I'd say this is end of the bench Melo injury insurance. We already knew we needed a depth PG signing, not sure this signals anything else.

Despise how Mitch makes these types of decisions. His forte is..,maybe draft picks? I’ll give him that so far for sure. But other moves, and especially NON-MOVES, give me great pause. For the Hornets to reach a proper velocity for liftoff, we must…SERIOUSLY MUST…get some key players this off-season to take a big next step. Assuming we sign Miles at too much $$$ (which we must, regardless due to another boneheaded Mitch pitch), Melo will not stick around if we’re rolling out the same old center plug ins, with the same old results.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

If we could combine Cho's random talent for finding random veterans (McBob for example) and Mitch's drafting. We'd have a really good GM.

we'd never escape the Zeller/Plumlee cycle though. do any of them have kids? Kupcho is probably already scouting them

I wouldn't consider Thomas a PG though - maybe in size, but not in playing style.

Bouk is as much a PG as Thomas is IMO.

Meh, its just a 10 day with very little commitment from us. That said he makes us worse in everyway we already suck at.

I like it. Especially since we refuse to play defense. We might have a crazy game and drop 200 points.

IT gets a second 10 day contract.

Apparently he’s having a good influence on LaMelo.

It’s time to put Martin back in the starting lineup and bring Thor in alongside Thomas. Thomas has a solid place on this team.

i can't argue against it, he appears to have mixed well with the group, I can't think of any other suitable veteran point guards available. i'd rather him than DJ Augustin

We should consider signing him for all of next season as well. This team isn’t built to play defense so we need as much offense as possible.

he reminds me of when the 2010 team picked up Larry Hughes
I guess looking at the regular season stats Hughes was pretty trash but I remember him fondly for giving us a big time game in the playoffs. maybe IT can do something like that

I feel like IT+Harrell is exactly like our Courtney Lee acquisition back in 2016. I hope either of them gives us as big a play as that Lee rebound + 3 pointer in the playoffs

Imagine if we could somehow have IT and Gordo play a full season together.

We’d go 70-12:
