I agree. I'm still thinking Mobes has it locked. But who knows.

It's hard to say. I think Giddey has flat out been better than him so far, but it's not about drafting the best year one guy. I love Kuminga's twitchy athleticism (Best in class I think), but he lacks the ancillary skills of basketball for me. Not a great rebounder, not a good passer or shooter. But if you squint and have patience you can see a star.

Floor - Jeff Green - Ceiling Jason Richardson/Siakam

With Josh Giddey I love his play making and he can throw some sneaky good passes. He's even a better rebounder than Kuminga. His scoring in general has had it's ups and downs. I think he'll be okay there. It's defense with Josh where I question his ultimate ceiling, but even without the defense if he gets the scoring down, I think he could be a star.
Floor - Rubio - Ceiling - Taller/Slower Nash.

I'm overly confident about this draft class and I don't think OKC regrets a thing.

Green with another 20 point game(yes it was mostly in garbage time, call him Blake Bortles ) He might finally be turning the corner; defense is a lot better than before. Still not really picking up the rebounds and assists but the FO and the coaching is awful. For whatever reason, Eric Gordon is still playing a lot of minutes, Christian Wood is still taking a lot of shots and not playing defense, and the team is just uninspiring. It's probably the worst situation a rookie could have walked into out of all the other teams.

I agree. I'm still thinking Mobes has it locked. But who knows.

Mobley should win it but 20 games a lot can happen. For example if the Raptors finish ahead of the Cavs it hurts Mobley's perception however Barnes will be down in the pecking order again which really could open it up for Cade if he can average like 20/5/5 the rest of the way. The biggest advantage Cade has that he has the ball in his hands and can act, the others have to react.

They both have a high ceiling due to different strengths. Kuminga is already one of the best athletes in the NBA where as Giddey has elite vision and passing. Both are possible/probable Allstars.

Talent wise I don't think OKC made the wrong pick. It's possible Kuminga would be a better fit with SGA I guess.

He is definitely coming on.

Once he gains 15 pounds, he can end up like LaVine imo. His playmaking is underrated.

I agree...I don't think OKC regrets anything.

I just wonder if it's harder to find an athletic wing like Kuminga than it is to find a solid point guard (which SGA can sometimes play).

Franz was really good, nearly had 30. This Jackson kid from the Pacers caught my eye, too. He looks like a gem.
