How much work must be done to get "lets go d!", or "De-fence" replaced with arena wide "kumite" chants?

27 free throw attempts by Embiid
6ers are going to be painful to watch in the playoffs

37 of their 44 FT's were taken by Embiid and Harden.

Re: Around the NBA 11
Who do you want to see lose in playoffs more.... durant/kyrie/Simmons or embiid/harden?
I'm not sure I could watch that series if it happened. I find it impossible to root for either currently, same as Lakers.

Excellent hypothetical. Deeply unlikable vs. deeply unlikable. I think I would have to go Sixers as Embiid is just unlikable (not deeply so).

Re: Around the NBA 11
Embiid deserves to win, he is really good and had to deal with ****
Harden is one of the worst divas ever in the history in the NBA, Kyrie being right there with him
I'll go with the Nets, it would be hilarious if they missed the playoffs

Re: Around the NBA 11
I love Embiid, Giannis and Paul so I'm pulling for the 76ers, Bucks & Suns. Not sure how my feeling will shake out between these teams until actual playoff games are being played.
Definitely rooting against the Nets because of Irving and Simmons.

Chris Paul is kind of an ****, but i absolutely love watching him play. Hope he gets a ring.

I would definitely pull for the Sixers. Embiid has been a warrior and loyal to Philly throughout.
And boohoo Batum, that guy is soft soft soft

Not sure if you heard it, but his recent appearance on JJ Redick's podcast was fantastic. Worth a listen.

Re: Around the NBA 11
Full Memphis for my part. I like how they rebuilt and how they are underrated. They are not there yet (normally, but it's sport we'll see) but they all do the little sacrifice things for the others, dont care about stats etc, they care about winning unlike so many labeled stars in this league who have more interest in their stats and future max contract.
'But Ja..?'
Yeah, they had a nice winning streak while he was out. Kinda speaks for itself...
If it does not work out for them, the second choice is obviously the Suns, more for M. Williams though even though Paul deserves to get a ring.

JJ's podcast is awesome. I think my favorite interview was between him and PJ Tucker.

Re: Around the NBA 11
The Suns or Memphis.
Not rooting for the Nets. None of their stars are likable.
Chicago is likable, but they already have titles.
Heat? Nope.
Golden State? Too much of a good thing.
76ers? Dislike Harden.
I'd pull for Utah or Denver too, but I don't think they're contenders. The Bucks too, but I'd rather a new team win.

Re: Around the NBA 11
Nets (1 GB from them) and Raptors (4 GB from them) lost tonight...we're basically playing to get two cracks at the play-in so need to leapfrog one of them in order for that to happen...Hawks won (tied with us now) and they play the Wizards (we're 1.5 games ahead of them) tomorrow...

Devonte Graham is seeing his future diminish after the acquisition of CJ, back to being an ok backup guard.

Re: Around the NBA 11
Mitchell Robinson has been balling lately. Taking a leap on a crappy NYK team. I didn't know he was only 23.
We could have gone after him this offseason but blew our cap on Plumlee, Oubre and the Batum stretch. Maybe there is financial maneuvering to be done

it's always easy in hindsight, especially seeing most of the board were sick of them both last season, but we would been have better off keeping both Martins and spent the money on Mitch.
Caleb has taken a leap as well which is why he is playing 23 minutes a game for the best team in the conference.
Ball, Ish
Rozier, Twin 1
Hayward, Twin 2
Miles, Washington, McDaniels
Mitch, Washington, Richards
Not sure we would have bothered with the midseason trade but that team is better defensively straight up.
