considering Sirotka never played single game for us, i'd say we already got a fair return on AJ if that's your comparison...

I think the reality with AJ is that we took a .500 career pitcher (with some previous injury problems, coming from a team that produces and wears down some major starters) in as something of a project for Arnsberg - he's got the stuff, even when he struggles he's still throwing it, but he needs to learn how to pitch a little more confidently and effectively - i know, much easier said than done. As big of a dissapointment AJ's injuries were last year, and how deflating his only appearance this year WAS, he's still by far our 2nd best player, and still has the ability to go out and dominate any lineup in the majors his next start - he just needs to find consistency, and even his biggest detractors cannot argue that

Reed Johnson should have to go back to third and the fan should be thrown out. Buddy Bell has now been thrown out. This has been a great game so far.

8-0 and this game is over. If this season is going to be anything like last season then we will only score 0-3 runs tomorrow.

Man, I thought there for a while that AJ was gonna get chased early again... Boy's gonna make or break our season.

I'm not sold on AJ just yet because after all these are the Royals. If he got in those jams with other teams, he might have got burned bad.
