One thing we agree on, their best players liability from three. TBH neither team won't scare me with healthy KD and full time Kyrie, that's without mentioning what Ben can give us.

Asking Hero to run 2nd unit is a huge push, won't get away with it come PO. Jimmy became a liability, Bucks just dared him to take 3s and long 2s all game.

Bucks, is it decline of Jrue or he just ran out the gas with all the bball he played? Khris looks OK though, doesn't seem to bother him. Yes I know everyone is different.

Miami scares me alot more with Lowry and Morris. they have a ton of defensive bodies and an elite coach. they are built for the playoffs. lowry looks to have lost a step. if thats the lowry we get in the playoffs i fear them alot less.

i have 0 fear of milwaukee. thats a series we sweep or win in 5.

Lowry could mop the floor with us at age 40, he just knows how to take advantage of us. He gets the whistle on both sides of the ball, and manages to make those crazy flip shots in the lane whenever we play him.

Don't put too much stock in how he's looked against other teams, Kyle was, is and always will be a Nets killer.

but it is 100% a terrible look for Harden to take a week away and come back 15 pounds lighter and playing like an MVP. I was convinced it was just the hammy but no chance. He absolutely dogged it and almost single handedly put us on a 10-game losing streak...

he wanted the easy route. coast in the RS then try hard and get in shape in april. when he had to work hard all year, he said F it im out. thats nonsense. you want out fine but your getting max dollars play hard and try while you are still here. thats 2 years in a row he let himself get fat, quit on his team, and forced his way out while under contract.

lost a ton of respect for him.

Harden absolutely deserves criticism for dogging it and faking an injury.

But I don't blame him one bit for wanting out. He wants to win and in Philly they have guys who are all about winning. Here in Brooklyn, winning is not the priority for Kyrie and KD, clearly.

But god forbid Embiid goes down for significant time with an injury, he will reap what he has sowed.

The playoffs in the East are going to be a bloodbath. Heat, Sixers, Bucks, Celtics all look legit. If we get healthy, we're going to be really good. The Cavs and Bulls are no joke. The Raptors are always tough in the playoffs.

I'm just hoping Philly plays Boston or Milwaukee in the first round

Yeah as ive said many times im never going to blame a player for wanting out good situation or bad situation. things change, feelings change. you need to go where you want to be.

But you still need to be a pro and honor your max deal. He flat out QUIT on this team. he flat out FAKED injury on this team. And instead of getting in shape like he did in 10 days in philly, he was flying to vegas between games.

Yeah…barring serious injury, every round of the playoffs should be engaging for the East.

He forced his way out of Houston in a similarly distasteful fashion, so I’m not surprised.

It'll take another month before he gets total confidence with his body. That GSW team will smoke every team on their path to NBA finals.

The ongoing Westbrook public humiliation situation is kinda wild, set amongst the whole Lakers' dumpster fire in general.

Yeah, there's a certain amount of shitty-joy in seeing stubborn superstars crash & burn like this. Doesn't help of course that they're multi-millionaires who keep finding ways to remind us of that overtly or subtly. For example, the idea that 'they can go home to their families and enjoy their wealth,' and that 'the game doesn't matter past a certain point.' Shades of Kyrie, no?

But say what you want about Kyrie, he really does seem Kobe-esque in his pursuit of his craft and his technique, for example his incredible dribbling skills and jumper technique.

Westbrook by comparison seems absolutely bound & determined to go down with the Iverson-like argument of 'I'm playing 110% out there, so nobody has room to critique!' Except that Russ can't even say that anymore. Plus, AI did have a much better shot, and always racked up steals on D, which was arguably about the best he could do as a skinny guy not even six foot.

So what's Russ' excuse in all this...?

Russell seems to be having a hard time realizing that his game isn't aging well. It doesn't help that he may also be in one of the most toxic situations in the league.
