Is there a lot of KU Jayhawks fans in the Missouri side of Kansas City? Is it normal to be a fan on the Missouri side?

I might be moving to Kansas City from Minnesota in a few months and want to become a Jayhawks fan and eventually get tickets to their basketball games in Lawrence, Kansas but don't know if it'll be unusual or out of place to be a Jayhawks fan if I live on the Missouri side. I got my eye on a Jayhawks hoodie I want to order but don't want to be ridiculed or anything. Are Jayhawks games easy to find at bars on the Missouri side of Kansas City or is that not common? Will people look at you weird if you're wearing a hoodie for Kansas University Jayhawks on the Missouri side? Am I worrying too much? I just don't want to be ousted or lambasted anything.

Just want to make sure before I order that hoodie that I got my eye on! 8-)
I want to move back to Minnesota, I miss it sooooo much!

It's very common. They are different states but the difference isn't very noticable in the Kansas City area in either side.

OK

I'll take your word for it. I'm going to lay down and sleep right now but when I wake up I WILL ABSOLUTELY order that Jayhawks hoodie that I have been looking at! I just hope it that isn't out of stock by the time that I wake up...

I just hope & pray that you are correct. I fear for my mental health & sanity if you're wrong though. Hopefully a lot of bars carry Jayhawks Basketball games on the Missouri side regardless.

You've chosen the right time to join us. There are plenty of Jayhawks in KCMO - a lot of them are my former classmates!
