Cade would have about the same. 14 games less played at 15 ppg
Wagner would have better stats if he had 14 games off.

You're always hating on Barnes for no reason...

All 3 were pretty bad tonight.

Wagner 5/14 from the field.
Suggs 4/16 from the field.
Barnes 4/15 from the field.

I don't know how you can possibly say one outplayed the other.

Barnes hasn't had this bad of a shooting night in a very long time. Whole Raptors team looked like complete garbage tonight (and yesterday).
Not hating, its hard love.

and if franz took as many 3s and shots as cade he would have 100s more points with .franz fg % 46.6 cade 40...from 3 franz 36.5 cade 32.2 ..missing 25% of games is not a positive thing.. only one of top rookies shooting above league avg in fg% 3pt% ft% and pts per game

Everybody keeps mentioning Barnes and Mobley hitting the rookie wall but have any of the other rookies matched their peak production this season.

Herb Jones #9 in the league in defensive Raptor for players that played at least 1163 minutes. Suggs #14, Mobley #26, Franz #64, Barnes #84, Giddey #94, Cade #115

Exactly. Suggs/Giddey are the only other rookies who have to create for others while creating the lion's share of their own offense. Cade of those 3 is seeing an insane amount of defensive attention for a rookie. Coincidentally, these 3 have had efficiency struggles. Whether you think its something inherent in their game or because of their role is a different matter. I tend to fall in the latter camp.

Magic fans, my apologies. I see now a Pistons fan interjected initially.

Pistons have won 5 of last 7 games. If the Pistons end the season on a high note, I could see Cade taking home ROY (recency bias). The biggest advantage Mobley has over the rest of the field is the team success factor right now.

Is Mobley playing with a lingering injury or is it just a rookie wall?

His play hasn't been the same since Rubio went down. Rubio was an X-factor for the Cavs.

Mobley has the award locked up, I'm wondering where all this Cade talk is coming from. I don't even think he's been as good as Scottie Barnes this season.

Lmao what? Look at mobley’s past few games and compare it to Cade. Cade has been consistently good while Mobley has been consistently mediocre. Just say you don’t watch Cade and I’ll understand.
