I dunno man. This season is over. I think Marks needs to do some serious work in July. We can't play this game with Kyrie and Durant needs to realize that Kyrie isn't his friend at all
Kd doesn't have a spine unfortunately when it comes to Kyrie. It's an odd dynamic they have where whatever Kyrie says goes. The minute he wasn't going to get vaxxed was the minute they should've traded him. Harden looks rejuvenated all of a sudden and Kyrie is still hoping that the mandate gets overturned. The nets can't sign him to another contract and they need to grow a set of balls and let it be known that players don't run front offices, look at how Miami operates, Riley told Lebron that the Heat work a certain way and you won't get any special privileges. It pissed Bron off but he got 2 rings out of it and it was the most structured place he has ever played in.

It seems that even if we flame out all the blame will to injuries and Kyrie.
Nash will get another chance. Which will be an epic disaster.
Our only hope is to clean house and hire a seasoned coach.

Tonight's rotation featured 4 nonshooters. 2 of them were on the floor most of the time. 3 of them played together at one point. That makes it incredibly difficult to generate offense unless a scorer does something spectacular or the defense screws up. Over 48 minutes, any decent team will adjust and damn near stop the offense.
The Heat are missing all their guys but 1-15 they're built in a modern way. Even when we were up big, they were consistently getting pretty good looks. Giving Herro and Bam space to work. Eventually it catches up.
This whole staff needs to go ASAP. D'Antoni should be option 1. If not, we need an offensive minded guy badly. I literally don't care about defense with this team. This is elementary school stuff. It's literally been a problem since GAME 1 and they refuse to adjust.
How is Edwards in the dog house? The only guy who can pretend to be a 3+D guy on the team.

up by 10.
Duncan robinson pump fakes brown and drives, brown recovers a bit where robinson needs to pick up his dribble in the paint. Johnson sprints from the corner leaving straus wide open to double team a non-threat duncan who had already picked up his dribble.
Straus hits the three. like he had been all night.
We just have no common sense. stuff like that happens all game every game. `your up 17 at one point... just stop giving up wide open threes and protect the ball

I dont buy this at all. they went on a 11-2 run followed by a 7-2 run with KD + Curry + Mills on the floor and the heat playing zone. fi you cant beat a zone with 3 of the best shooters in the league out there you should quit and find another career. instead we have bruce brown floaters and LMA turn around fade jumpers. The Heat are missing all their guys but 1-15 they're built in a modern way. Has nothing to do with players, they have an elite coach. switch rosters and spolestra has the nets winning this one by 30+This whole staff needs to go ASAP. D'Antoni should be option 1. the worst part is the build in excuses with injuries and the trade and the mandate. there has never been a worse coaching job.
this is the 5th time we lost at home, with the opponent on a back to back, missing multiple starters. FIFTH!

I'm on board that it's a coaching problem but the only team that can really run 2 non-shooters on the floor is Golden State. They have Curry - an all time great player at running off screens - and they run the most complicated offense in the league. You can get away with it - for sure. But it's just not sustainable.
No one else in the league does it for a reason. Teams at least throw out below average shooters if they have to. We're out here with guys who are basically zero at shooting.
You're responding like I'm trying to excuse the coaching staff. This is 100% on them. They could balance the lineups by playing Edwards at backup 4 (or starting him at 3), playing Johnson only with LMA, playing Claxton only at C, being careful with Bruce's minutes, etc. That's the type of stuff Spoelstra would do.

problem is could very easily end up a 9 seed, playing a one and done vs, someone like boston, who we just lost to.

It rarely happens but I'll have to side with Prok here. If we get any type of system than we won't be facing issues we going through right now. As you mentioned, GSW has very complex system in place that won't fit most teams. Assistant like Luke comes in and the still running it like nothing changed. You can add our own experience with JV replacing Kenny and looking competent.
This off-season we will have to open a thread and just do major research which coach can be had to operate this Lambo. I'd through a name here like Joerger and maybe Walton who actually had some experience being ast and HC. Well, it's way to early right now so whatever.
For trolls, we have no system and our coaching is TRASH. Doesn't take away the fact this is most talented team in NBA right now. We coming to spank your ass. Couple weeks from now y'all be shaking.

im not coming at you or i dont mean to, im just frustrated.
98% of this season we have had at least one of KD, Kyrie, or Harden. We should not have a losing record. period.
the coaching is so incompetent it hurts. it should not be hard to beat mediocure or bad teams with KD + Kyrie
