VERY interesting remarks about Kawhi and Paul by the TNT announcer… the word is that they look really good..and ahead of schedule

It’s going to be so disappointing if they don’t come back after we keep hearing stuff like this. I know I only have myself to blame for having hope still.

What’s the point of these comments though?

Exactly, guys like Lucas J. Hann seem so desperate for attention that they'd post anything sensational, even if it's not 100% legit.

On a side note, last I heard: Kawhi seems more probable to return (than PG13).

hurrying back to try to get the 6 seed is stupid

all is going according to plan--even better since we've already pretty much clinched the play-in spot and probably the 7/8

if we're competitive--hell, PG could certainly play with 1 1/2 arms if needed right now!

Excellent, let's get the band back together and rock the NBA

Who says he is hurrying back?

If he is improving, he should ramp up his workouts gradually and rejoin the team once his conditioning is up to speed.

Nobody said he is hurrying back. Let's recap: PG is clearly NOT hurrying back. He could play tomorrow if it were the playoffs and we needed him--even at only 75%, he'd be of help.

But we're 5 games out of 6th and 5 games above 11th. Best to keep doing exactly what we're doing--resting that elbow and letting it get as close to 100% as it can. And I expect Powell back too and maybe even Kawhi. This is a helluva supporting cast and they won't want to miss the fun. :D

All 3 were courtside at the Lakers game. Something's in the air, and it smells like...victory!

That would be great.

I agree, they should wait until they are as fully recovered as possible.

However, it is isn't just about chasing the 6th seed, they also need to get in back in rhythm and develop some chemistry.

AH yes but remember "load management." It's BULL$HIT! Once you come back--you're BACK. Can't put out a different rotation every night. We're winning with a skeleton crew because everyone knows their role and their job. Don't disrespect them by turning any game into a G-League rehab for PG or anyone else.

I'm gonna place a bet and say PG will be back on March 25th against Philly, probably Powell too. We'd have 8 games left before the play-in game.
I don't think Kawhi would come back unless we are in the conference semi-finals.

PG has progressed to minimal contact 4 on 4 with some coaches Lue said.

Showed Powell getting up shots but no update.

No Leonard that I’ve seen.

I do wonder who had a talk with Lue. He almost fell over backtracking on his no one plays if the can’t get reps in the regular season. Said if it was up to him it would be that way but if the medical staff clears them to go from 0-100 then they’ll play.

I think he's got a fine line to walk between wanting to get our stars back in, but not completely disrupting the chemistry the team has been playing with all year. At the same time we all know we need at least George back to make any noise in the playoffs.

Mann reportedly said after the fourth loss in a row that help was coming.
