Heat:

Middle of the pack in getting the best refs
3rd in total games with rookie refs
23rd in Refs with Total Yrs Exp
Middle of the pack when it comes to refs that were used in 2021 Finals

When I we stopped to think about it, referee stats , shoot be taken into consideration us one of the 3 most important parts of the game... It's Entertainment after all

And to think I don't usually give a damn about stats...

Meh..

A path to the finals this year may look something like: Raps -> Celtics -> Milwaukee. We defeated both the Bucks and the Celtics in the postseason in 2020, but Raptors are instrumently more challenging than that 2020 Indiana team.

And if Brooklyn does stay at 8th and are healthy heading into the playoffs.. that wouldn't be fun for us either. The east is PACKED this year.

I believe we can compete with anyone and defeat every team in our conference in a 7-gamer, but anything can happen in the postseason. ANYTHING.

Upcoming schedule before hitting the road. 3-4 worst case scenario. 4-3, 5-2, or 6-1 seems plausible.

Edit: Heat are actually 0.5 GB the Warriors.

actually 7th seed and 8th seed play each other assuming its raptors vs nets I can see nets advancing and then they play the 7th seed. We would have to play against the raptors hawks or hornets whoever wins that game. We would win easy vs hornets. Hawks might even be more annoying than raptors.

I gamble on NBA. During playoffs I make plays based off officiating stats (other factors/angles come in but refs stats are significant). For several seasons I was hitting a ridiculous %. One season I hit something like 90+%. I don't bet much but people made huge profits off the plays. If you google my name you may be able to read through some of my threads.

NBA refs are crooked. NBA is all about revenue. During the PO's fans like to see certain match ups so they bring in refs to help extend series to bring in ratings & $$.

I didn't do too well last season but this was the last post of ref stats for the PO's
Ref stats are 22-23-6. Head Chief stats is 26-19-6

So if you follow the W/L for Chief refs & made a bet accordingly you'd be up for the PO's & almost break even if you follow the ref W/L stats in general.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Thing about that 7 vs 8 game is it would be in Toronto and Kyrie wouldn't be eligible to play. I still think the Nets with KD and Simmons should be able to win that game but you never know

Raptors have regressed lately. They had one good run earlier in the year but have been mediocre otherwise.

Just listened to the Caron butler podcast from a day ago and at the end said he is excited to start polishing some adjustments with the team additions of Dipo and Moris coming back this week.
Nice to hear the coaching staff talk about excitement over incorporating new schemes with players whove been missing significant time.
This also kinda tells us that Moris will be ready to go to this week.

My take on last night game. Heat played excellent defensively. That what won the Heat the game overall. However this can not be overlooked that Harden didn't play. Heat will have to scheme very differently factoring Harden. Offensively to team played well considering that tge 76ers are a very good defensive team. The shooters all shot well and that is what carried the team including Herro decision making. Probably his best game of his career.

In order for the Heat to beat 76ers in the playoffs, Bam and Butler will have to be better.

That'd be pretty huge. Are you positive he said that?

Breaking news here, 5 reasons sports got nothing on us

And good news indeed, With Dipo and Morris back we fan afford to give Tucker/Jimmy/Martin some needed rest.

I’m glad the Sixers threw a zone at us last night, now Spo has plenty of film to analyze. Also, I think Dipo will be a zone buster. He can shoot, attack the gaps etc. he can pull a team out of a zone.

Damn Brooklyn really might finish 8th lol. I can’t like KD and Kyrie with Simmons defending Jimmy/Bam/Lowry throughout the game worries me for a 1st round matchup
