Luka isn't slightly better than Tatum offensively Shak. It's pretty significant. He's one of the best passers/playmakers in the game. His court vision is insane, and he controls the tempo exceptionally well.

He's a top 5 offensive talent in the league.

Danny might have had a bad last few years but picking tatum over fultz makes up for all of it.

Luca is a amazing distributor but Im not sure how you can say significant when you consider everything. Doncic has been a good mid range shooter but has struggled this year but when you consider outside shooting and attacking Tatum is the better scorer. Ive been super critical of Tatum’s ability to make others better but even I have to admit he’s taken a step forward with his passing as of late. Doncic is the more impactful player but with the way Tatum has played recently I dont see a big gap.

Luca is the taller less efficient version of Steve Nash.. Tatum has A ceiling that is, = or even better than Kawhi Leonard.

If winning everything is the only thing that matters the answer should clearly be Tatum or K Leonard over Nash/Doncic.

A versatile elite 2 way forward over a high volume, ball dominate stat padding point guard who does not play defense 10 days a week.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Just want to add that I was in attendance for the 60 point game. I appreciate Jayson waiting for me to attend another game before breaking his career high.

I think he's slipped into the top 10 due to so many being out due to injuries. Will a top 10 player be happy getting bounced before reaching the Finals yet again without asking to be moved? That's the great fear and why so much is riding on these playoffs imho.

'ceiling' concept is dead to us now;)

also remember that as a rookie he was technically proficient and operating near his career peak
and also remember we should trade him for Andre Drummond
and also remember that he can't lead and doesn't even like basketball

JT-TL bromance is the season subplot I never knew I needed but now can't live without.

He’s a better passer on offense Tatum is a better shooter more athletic more of a 3 level scorer and is at least as good at finishing. The gap between Tatum and Luka on defense is much wider than the playmaking gap. Biased? Of course but there’s a great argument Tatum is better.

Tatum more impactful than Luka, and I say that as someone who has defended Doncic.

26396 points as a Celtic doesn't seem out the question. Average 24ppg until he's 34 and don't miss many games. Could be fun.

I was thinking of making a separate thread to talk about exactly where he ranks now. I would love to have that discussion.
