Those are my personal top 5 in no real order. I could see each one take out the other.

Was split between the Heat and Warriors for the 5 spot, Heat are a very solid team and the Warriors have been abysmal of late, but with Green and Wiseman returning soon and Klay returning to his old self eventually went with the Warriors.

Suns, Bucks, Heat, Sixers are in as the 4 I'm confident about.

The last pick comes down to Warriors/Nets and it hinges entirely on how quickly they can get Simmons/Draymond back up to speed.

1. Sixers
2. Suns
3. Warriors
4. Nets (If healthy and can be #1 depending on Simmons)
5. Bucks/Heat

Shoutout to Denver who could crack the top 5 if Murray/Porter Jr comeback and look good.

1. Milwaukee
2. Phoenix
3. Golden State
4. Philadelphia (will be higher when they've had more than a handful of games to gel, so next year probably #1 on my list)
5. Boston

Hon: Miami, Brooklyn, Denver

MIL
PHX
GSW
MIA
PHI

BKN is there all dependant on health & mandate dropping, if it does I think ironically they could take PHI's spot and MEM is THE darkhorse/darkside, that can absolutely surprise this league especially if CP3 or Draymond aren't their healthiest through the Playoffs.

Just don't see the Nets. Even if everyone comes back healthy and plays (BIG IF), championships take chemistry. They just haven't played enough together imo.

Suns
Bucks
Heat
Warriors
Jazz (dark horse)

I left Philly off for the same reason as the Nets, but I believe in them more.

I don't think it makes sense to have four East teams and only one West team in your top 5 contender list even if you rank the teams in that order in a vacuum. Since the playoffs are still conference-based, I think you have to have at least two West teams in there – especially since the Suns are likely favorites to come out of the West but certainly not a shoe in.

Defence for the Nets is also a big concern and defence wins Championships.

I just don't see the Nets as a viable contender this year. Not impressed with Nash, no faith in Simmons and low seeds do not win NBA championships. The Nets are going to make it to the 6 seed, so you're asking them to be the lowest seed to win the Finals in NBA history. That's not going to happen.

This is a bit intresting tbh. For me anyone in the top 11 league total can win it, maybe even 13 if u count in the 2 LA teams. But most intresting is that most got 3-4 teams from the east when they this far into the season proven to more be middle of the pack. But I dont think memphis will have anything to do with contention.

Suns
GSW
Heat
Bucks
