Towns plays 24 minutes and puts up just 27 and 13. Plus 1 ast, 1 stl and 2 blks. Just another ho-hum night.

As expected the Mavs are beating down the red hot Jazz

I love it. It's great to see our deep bench get minutes. The team went nuts after Layman scored. Great to see.

It’s great to see that even the deep bench comes in and plays hard.

These guys are a lot better than most teams have down at 12-15. I’m glad Jim Pete pointed this out about Layman in the broadcast. Bolmaro has shown he’s too good for the G League. And I think Okogie would be a rotation player on most teams (that don’t have Vando and McDaniels in front of him, stealing the defensive role). We forget, Josh started a number of games, because we needed his point of attack defense.

They could have been some of the better players tonight if they played for POR.

I love seeing Billups and Beverley embracing after the game.

Two of my favorite Wolves.

37-29. 13 of our last 17 and 21-9 since January 3rd. Oh and a 5 game win streak with 6 of 7 since the ASB. Not bad ;) ;) ;)

Wolves shoot 41% with 20 turnovers, usually I'd doubt that the team would be able to win. So blowing out their opponent by 43 makes no sense to me.

What did J Pete say about Layman?

He pointed out that Layman had been a good player in Maryland, a good player in Portland, and a good player in Minnesota. He’s sure that he doesn’t like being cheered as a novelty as the worst player, but Layman has played well, works hard every day, and is a great teammate.

Yeah I feel for Jake to be honest. I know the fans mean no ill will, but I'm sure it probably rankles him a little bit to be the "hey it's THAT guy, I hope he does something" player on this roster.

That's just kind of the way it shakes out though sometimes I guess, he started off pretty well here, then injuries and coaching adjustments lead to him getting buried.

Not complaining, its great to see our team finally blow other teams out but these games are a little boring. I'm actually looking forward to playing some better teams just so we can see how we match up competitively. Feels like we are unbeatable with these last few games lol.

I forgot what I predicted this year for our record, was either 42-40 or 45-37. We're currently 37-29!

Thanks shrink. I liked Layman when we first got him but have been disappointed with his play since. It's a difficult task to come in and impress when you have so few chances to shine. Somehow you still have to do it.

Something happened to Jake in the 20-21 offseason. He and Juancho were not the same players from the prior year. I had hoped Layman might find himself again during this past offseason, but alas it was not to be. I am a Layman fan despite his struggles, but I am glad we will be moving on from him. I really hope he finds his mojo again with another team. Preferably a rebuilding team who might find minutes for him.
