lol
I think that was Keldon Johnson shooting the 3 too. He's like top-10 in 3-point % this season.
Russ like "idc let him shoot it"
"I'd rather have Kevin Love spacing out to the three point line than anything (Karl) Malone brings"

Westbrick has checked out mentally and is just cashing out his $40millions.

He better have built a nice brick house from all those missed shots cause he’s gonna hear how bad he was during his last few years in the league.

What do you guys want from the man? When he takes bad shots or turns the ball over, you complain, fair enough. So he he stands in place and does none of those things, and you still complain. Dude can't win.

He’s calculating the projectile of the rebound

I've been there and I can tell by his body language. He just realized he **** himself and he doesn't want to move or it will drip and be noticed

Yea I kind of feel bad for him because at the start of the season, everyone was like Russ needs to be Russ. Now he feels so neutered that he's scared to be anything more than a glorified role player. He doesn't feel like he has the green light to go for 40 or shoot 3 times in a row without everyone looking at him. They took his gas off the pedal for the rest of the season for a player who is all about the gas pedal. Without that, he's emasculated out there

Lol, standing in place on defense is ALWAYS a bad thing.

Westbrook's low BBIQ has finally caught up to him these past couple of years. He was able to compensate with his insane athleticism and relentless motor before, but now that he's aged he's simply been a detriment to every team he's played for.

No LBJ, no AD. I don't really blame the guy. Team is 8 games under .500, coach isn't great, GM sat on his hands at the trade deadline.

Once the season concludes, Wes should probably end up on his 5th team in as many seasons.

Russ is cooked. I think he’s just coasting at this point in his career. He probably knows his rep is trash after this Laker season and once this contract is through, so why bother?

He wants rebounds so he can pad his triple double stats. He was doing this back in OKC too, whenever he needed a couple more to get 10 rebounds. He used to wait for the 4th quarter to start that ****, but I guess there's not much to play for in LA right now.

It's not so much his unwillingness to go after the rebound, but more so his unwillingness to run out to the shooter that bothers me.

He did this in the Warriors game as well. There was a point one of the Warriors players had it deep in the key and Russ was the “help” defender and just stood there and watched. He literally could’ve stolen the ball or done anything other than just standing there

Is this really worthy of a topic? Yes he should run to the perimeter and make sure someone doesn't get an open 3 or something, but he probably didn't expect his entire team to get outrebounded and he's far from the only player to be a bit lazy and make a mistake ever, especially when he's basically been targetted for months by the media and fans.

I just think highlighting this play is a bit ridiculous.

Haha

It's pretty obvious the partnership isn't working out for either side, gotta be some sorta trade out there to be had.

How about we find a way to get him on the Knicks and you can not make topics about his plays all you want. :P
