Re: Postseason Watch
Jokic is ridiculous. I thought they were definitely losing this when they were down by 10 pts with 3 minutes remaining but Pels somehow ended up choking

Re: Postseason Watch
I have never seen a situation where every team we need to lose is winning 80 percent of their games for like a month, this is madness. We got a damn 4 game win streak in a tight race and it has helped us none. If We had a bad stretch the Clippers would have passed us. Infuriating.
I don't want to mess with the play in because anything can happen, it will be devastating to the fan base if we flop the play in games and miss the playoffs.

Of course the Nuggets come back to win in OT.

We just are simply such a bad match up vs them & in the play in...I just see no real chance beating them?thinktank wrote:6 would be great.
But 7 seed vs Memphis isn’t a bad matchup.

We wouldn't play the clippers would we. 7 should get 10 and 8 should get 9.

7 and 8 play each other because it is non elimination. 9 and 10 have to win 2 to get in, 7 and 8 only need to win 1.
Edit to clarify: winner of 7 vs 8 is 7 seed. Loser plays winner oof 9 vs 10 for the 8 seed.
Good news, NYK destroyed LAC. We gained half a game on the Clippers.

As infuriating as it is, at least we've got a legitimately good team here.

I struggle to get mad at the animal mascot teams
Most of my rage seems to be at the elemental/inanimate object squads (Sixers, Heat, Trailblazers, Nuggets, Lakers, Clippers)

Re: Postseason Watch
So this is going to sound crazy, but do you guys think the Warriors might fall to 5th or worse? Draymond’s back issues are the type that don’t seem likely to be fully resolved during this season. If he comes back at 80-90% can he stay healthy and maintain the defense level they need? Wiseman is both slow in coming back and not likely to be in their playoff rotation, which I take to mean he will not get a ton of time this season. Warriors have lost 9 of 11 and the question in the back of my mind is what happens if they cannot course correct. Could we win 11 or 12 of our last 16 and maybe push the warriors into the play in, assuming the do stay in free fall?

They do have the opportunity to help still in their next two & make things better for us (tonight vs Clips & Thursday again vs Den).Domejandro wrote:Super annoying that Golden State rested all of their players tonight. Really hosed Minnesota

Maybe I’m just a glass half full type with the disaster this franchise has been the last 20 years but I think Our record is very misleading. Look at the last six games - the only team we played that wasn’t missing key starters, in many cases stars we have played has been the Philadelphia 76ers and they basically toyed with us.
I wouldn’t be surprised al all if we get beat in the play in tournament by either the Lakers, are the Clippers by 10 points.

Haha
Yeah we lead the league in playing teams with injuries like I said the only good team we have played the past six games has been Philadelphia and they beat us by 31 points. With James Harden they are just in a different stratosphere then we are.
I hope I’m wrong but if Paul George comes back and Anthony Davis comes back we will not beat either one of those two in a play in let’s face it.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
