Man we need Kyrie at home.

Can you imagine how electric Barclays would be with him playing like this?

50 point masterpiece by Kyrie today and that made the game worthwhile to watch. But we simply can't string together 4 good quarters, that's the hallmark of a bad team.

I have zero expectations for this team, at this point anything other than a humiliation in the playoffs is a bonus. I'm all on board for next season, this season's had one obstacle too many. Only thing keeping me watching is the development of the rookies and the curiosity of what Ben Simmons brings. Ben suit up quickly and stop stealing money you thief.

I get it but you guys are overreacting to the Celtics loss. Even with all the flaws and lack of chemistry, the Nets almost won in Boston, who are the best team in the NBA over the last 10-20 game btw, with Tatum having the best game of his entire career.

Forget the boston game... did we not just blow a 17 point lead, at home, to a heat team missing 3 starters. who just played the night before against the bucks?

Hornets are going to win this wire to wire unless KD/Kyrie combine for 80

Nah 64 was enough

We will need 80 from them to beat Philly. I am not even excited.

Kyrie Irving has officially the most 50 point games in Nets franchise history and doing it over 70% FG.

Great game tonight. With KD and KAI playing, 120+ pts are going to be on the menu.

The 2nd half was ugly but that's because KD sucked and got in his head, which happens on occasion with him.

Tighter rotation from Nash tonight with good games from everyone expect James Johnson who I really think is a negative.

I would sit Johnson and play Edwards or Blake.

I think Kyrie could legit drop 79 points in a game on 30 shots.

Watching KD sometimes had me speechless but usually because I legit got banned here saying KD to BK was real….watching Kyrie score is just unbelievable when he’s locked into champion mode. His talent is unreal and he will never be excluded by me as a fan based on personal choice instead of domestic abuse and disorder. I’d rather call Kyrie a selfish superstar than a domestic abusive superstar. I don’t think nets fans have put that context to perspective enough.

we will be lucky to even cover the spread tonight, nevermind win. This team is lost.

Nets win by 10+ pts.

MDB, how accurate that was!! LOL..

I will post my prediction on Nets vs 76ers before gametime.

Yo this interview with KD is candid af. Wow.

KD is basically telling Ben to sit there on Thursday and take the abuse.

I agree. Ben needs to eat it.

Can we get one game where both KD and Kyrie are cooking?

Both are so good this year.

If only this dude would play full time, we'd be looking at a chip with Harden still on the team.

Well, KD and Kyrie have pretty much shared my thoughts about Harden. I can't blame him if he thinks Philly is a better shot especially with Kyrie is part time.

It is what it is. No hard feelings. This situation isn't ideal right now.

Nope.

I won’t ever agree when this clown is out partying in between games since last season and showing up playing like he’s drunk in key games without KD, Joe Harris prior to any COVID canceled games, without Kyrie we had the #1 seed until he wanted to test free agency. He pulled a Jason Kidd/Deron Williams move and plenty of Nets fans get that. He’s an all-time great talent but it doesn’t excuse that to the point where Kevin Durant and Joe Tsai is looking at him funny. He’s just another Courtney Lee to me.

The situation could’ve been 20-50 and it didn’t warrant that level of immaturity from a former MVP perennial all-star and I’ve been the first one to defend him when other posters have called him out on lack of aggressiveness offensively, lack of effort defensively and clear cut lack of desire to take over games BEFORE any vaccine mandate. We couldn’t even beat Cleveland TWICE in their first TWO games with this guy.

We depended on his playmaking and ability to possibly draw fouls. Then, couldn’t even do that for months. This guy was the worst version of himself as Net. I could care less what he Kyrie’s selfishness led and I don’t care what KD said or what Tsai or Marks said. KD had 49/10 vs Bucks, Kyrie had 50 in his debut and 54 against Chicago after Kobe died, Harden had…..? Nothing at memorable at Barclays. That’s why fans booed him hard multiple times this year.

He knows he looks nuts leaving Kevin Durant and failing for a ring in Philly will make him worse than Simmons and anyone there ever. He has no other choice because he isn’t a self motivated player. He needs a rabid fan environment to check his ego. I’m certainly glad it wasn’t the Knicks. Good luck. I personally don’t want a clown like that on my team. I can’t wait for his demand to join Phoenix and return home in a few years.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
